How dare they abandon her, in a time of need! Kimiko paced angrily, back still sore from where the other young lioness had dug her claws in. Glaring at the ground, the white lioness paused to smack a rock. It skipped on the ground before making a plunking sound. Perking an ear, the lioness went to investigate, finding near by a watering hole. Around her, she saw signs of where that green-haired... Furball had been as well as the dark little whelp. A snarl escaped her throat before she merely wandered. She'd find something to do, she'd make sure of it. She paid no heed of where she went, just pointed her nose at an angle from the giant pointy rock. Make it look like she was just passing through, after all...

Grooming her chocolate paws slightly, Mut'salama let a purr rumble from her throat. Food filled her belly, obtained from a small yet sufficient kill. Since she'd started to hunt, she'd gotten better at it with practice. Big brother would be proud, she just knew it!

Flicking a chocolate tipped ear, she stretched and yawned widely, pondering what to do with her time. As the winds shifted, she caught the scent of another, somebody new. Rising to her paws, she moved to a rock to look around. What she spied was a white coat reflecting the light. Blue eyes filled with curiosity, she climbed down and trotted towards the newcomer.

Someone was approaching, she could smell it. Stopping in her tracks, Kimiko looked up. A snarl crossed her face before she realised this was someone native to the land, and this was NOT Shin. In the back of her thraot a growl rose up, but she suppressed it. Instead, she put on a fake look of innoccence and being lost, watching the other approach in mock curiosity and confusion.

Stopping some distance away, Mut put on a smalle and called out, "Hi! Can I help you with something? You wanting to join the Pridelands pride?" Danzi had told her to be wary of strange lions but... This one didn't look dangerous! What harm would it do for her to not greet her? It'd be rude, is what it'd be!

Looking around as if surprised, Kimiko eyed the other lioness. "Pride? You mean a pride lives here?" Of cours a pride lived here, their smell was EVERYWHERE. It made her stoumach turn, actually. Somehow, they smelled like sunshine and daisies. She had to suppress the urge to vomit right then and there. "No, I was merely passing through, you see... I'm on my way to the north, you see..." Restraint going down 3, 2, 1...

Tilting her head with a smile, Mut nodded, "Alright! Well, if there's anything you need help with, like a guide to the other side of the lands for a direct route... That way someone won't attack you or nothin'." She let out a shudder, clearly not liking the idea of being attacked.

As she watched the other lion, Mut felt a slight and sudden prickling. Something wasn't right about this lioness, but she couldn't put her paw on it. She seemed to be struggling with something. "Are you alright..?"

She suspected, didn't she...? Kimiko started to bristle, her restraint waning faster. "I'm... Fine..." She tilted her head just right, popping her neck. Her golden eyes narrowed and the flower turned into the thorn she normally was. Growling slightly, she paced around the other lioness. "But I'm not fine... With you..." One thing Kimiko had quickly come to dispise, living out at the oasis, had been happy sunshine personalities, and this lioness clearly had one. She extended her claws, clearly on the ready to attack.

Shock registered on the lioness' face as she backed away, suddenly afraid of the younger lioness. If it came to fighting, Mut was, despite her age advantage, greatly outmatched. This was someone who had obviously made it something in her life to be fierce and vicious. Ears flattening back, she started to run away. "G-Get out of our land, you evil rogue!"

Oh, it was on. With a grin and a growl, Kimiko began walking, then trotting, and then full-on running after the other lion. It felt good, actually, to chase something. She couldn't be bothered to chase prey, but when it came to other lions... She'd honed her skill with it on Shin, really...

Stretching her legs and body out, she quickly gained upon Mut. It didn't take too much to make her trip and fall, and the white lioness skid to a halt as she watched the other crash. Laughing coldly, she walked up to the cream and chocolate lioness, leaning close. "Filthy little lion, whoever your and your pride are, I've come to claim what I can." With a growl, she turned and bit down hard on Mut's leg, reveling in the gush of blood and the roar of pain. Just the chase had been enough, and the one bite. With a flick of her black-ringed tail, she turned and walked off, licking the blood from her maw. Soon... Soon she'd try taking out her blundering little 'nanny'. She just didn't know she wouldn't be claiming a thing.

Panting and whimpering, Mut pulled her bitten limb close. Closing her eyes and doing her best to curl up, she tried to block her fears, but they enclosed upon her, shoving her mind away, away...

It was the darkness again, the strange glowing eyes in lion-shaped masses.. Unlike last time, they were clouds, cottony, somehow gentle. She saw Kabichi, clear and defined, and the clouds she came from. But it took a strange path, the non-twinkling clouds linking somehow to a large twinkling one, which bore golden eyes. Something was important about those eyes, but Mut knew not what. She just knew this strange lion, this unknown lion with the fierce yet kind golden eyes, was important. But why...?

With a start, the lioness came to. Looking around, she realised she'd been laying there a bit. Slowly rising, she checked her leg. The blood had dried, but the pain was there. She tested it carefully, discovering nothing damaged. Looking around and shivering, she headed off to find a safe place to sleep for the night. She would not forget this painfully learned lesson of trust afforded to outsiders.
