The large blue male had led Sheshe to his own home, between the tall grasses, where his son was hopefully awaiting his arrival back. His expression was content, though he was rather excited to show Sheshe the proud father he was, of his only son. He had never shown off his son to anyone, but this was more of a time than ever! As he approached the entrance, he turned and looked at the lioness. "Sheshe, mind waiting here for a second? ... i'll ask him to come out here. Its rather dark inside there." He winked, and then slowly padded into the den which he called home. It was very large, well fit for a large family.

He looked around and then called out to his yellow son. "Wahabu, are you in here by any chance? I have a friend who would love to meet you ..." He awaited an answer, continuing to peer around the walls of the den.

Wahabu was having quite the afternoon. He was tired from having a little trouble sleeping through the previous night, and then he'd met two very strange lionesses he suspected were actually relatives of his. Not only did he meet them, one brought a message from his long lost friend- he was back, had a son and didn't come and tell him himself. He'd almost decided to go see Kubwa, but chickened out. It upset him a little bit that his friend wouldn't come and see him as soon as he got back. Quietly, Habu was laying near the back of the den- trying to catch up on his sleep and waiting for his father to come back. When Kizamaji finally showed up, Habu almost didn't hear him.

"Wha-" he blinked a couple times to wake himself up, lifting his head in time to hear his father finish calling for him. He opened his mouth to shout back, to say he had to ask him about something when he said there was a friend he was wanted to meet.

"Who's here?" Habu called back, getting up to his feet and heading for the entrance and his father.

"Of course," Sheshe agreed quietly, doing as Kizamaji had asked and waiting outside the den. Her heart fluttered as she watched him disappear inside. This was it! She was going to meet Wahabu.

With just the briefest of fidgets, the lioness stood and waited.

"Wahabu, my friend Sheshe is here to see you. Shes an old friend of mine and she would love to say hello ..." He pushed Wahabu out, a smile on his maw. The two of them came to the opening of the den, and Kizamaji simply walked back over to the lioness. He rubbed against her and then looked back up at Wahabu. "Dear, Sheshe is going to be ... staying with us for a while."

He didn't want to admit replacing his son's mother, but well, Kiza had to get on with his life as well.

Habu did as he told (or pushed) and emerged from the den, offering a small smile to the stranger that stood out there. She looked friendly, and if she was an old friend of his father's he had no reason to worry. He did wonder briefly why they'd not been introduced before, or why he'd never thought that his father actually had friends. His mother hadn't lived here, but his father did- of course he'd have friends.

"Hello, Sheshe," he greeted her politely, deciding against an introduction since his father obviously had told her his name. He watched his father rub against her, and looked a little surprised when it was announced she would be staying with them for a while.

"Is she?" he managed, looking curiously between them. This was very sudden, Habu thought. His father had never mentioned any plans like this before.

Sheshe smiled as father and son emerged, taking in the picture of yellow and blue that they made. Wahabu was so handsome, with hints of the family she'd grown up with hear and there in his appearance. No wonder Kiza was so proud of him!

The small lioness purred lightly when rubbed against, her smile to Wahabu turning just a little shy, evidence perhaps that she wasn't quite used to this sort of thing yet. Her greeting, however, was bright. "Hello, Wahabu! Kiza's told me so much about you."

"If.." she paused a moment, ears falling back just a touch, "If you don't mind." It was Wahabu's den too, after all! And he was Kiza's son. He might be grown, but Lemaa'sheshe was a nanny, and would never simply dismiss children as having no say.

Kizamaji watched Sheshe closely, smiling. It was apparent that she was rather shy. He nuzzled against Sheshe, in an attempt to well, make her feel more comfortable. He stood back up and padded over to Wahabu, almost as if wanting to beg. "You don't mind, right? Of course you don't!" He stood still, closing his eyes. He was thinking to himself, Please, please, please, pleeeeaaassse!

Wahabu seemed only able to stare for a moment, and not wanting to be rude to their ... guest, he turned his eyes on his father. It didn't even occur to him that it was nice of them to give him a say in the matter, he felt, after all, that he was the one living with his father and not that they were necessarily sharing it equally. The look on his father's face was enough to tell Habu that he really wasn't wanted to say no, and it wouldn't be something Habu would do anyway.

"Of course not," he said finally, glancing back over at Sheshe.

"Hush," she chided Kiza, ever-so gently and with affection. She was far from the most assertive of creatures, but there were some things that pushed her past that. You couldn't just tell someone what to think or say, not in this kind of situation.

At Wahabu's initial acceptance, however, she smiled and limped a little closer. "You're sure?"

"If you're not...please say it?" Lemaa'sheshe's expression, with ears slightly cast back, was utterly sincere. There was a touch of worry as well...he might still say no.

Kizamaji lowered his ears as Sheshe said something back to him. "Sorry ..." Ashamed, he simply looked to his son and then away. He would let Wahabu decide for sure. He didn't want to force him to like her, thats all. He listened to the lioness and then kept his mouth shut and watched. Even though he knew Wahabu would accept her anyways. He was too nice to not let her stay with them.

Habu continued to watch the pair of them carefully, and with an odd curiosity. Obviously, he wasn't going to get any explanation other than them being friends and her living with them now. He was surprised, and a little pleased, when Sheshe made an effort to not let his father convince him one way or another. It didn't change the fact that Habu knew his father wanted it this way, but it certainly made Sheshe look that much better.

He turned his gaze fully on Sheshe and offered her a small smile, "I'm sure."

Sheshe had hardly said it to make herself look good; she really was that concerned, and not only for Wahabu. Who really wanted to live with someone who didn't like you or didn't want you there? It would be terrible.

"Thank you," she purred, relieved and happy, and regarded them both glowingly. She was so happy.

He returned his view with a smile as well. Looking to Sheshe, his ears rose back up. He looked her in the eyes and then grinned. "Well, then. How about I show you around the den? Or well, show you the inside." He padded forward beside Wahabu and into the opening with excitement. He was very happy that his son was okay with Sheshe staying with them, though he didn't want to tell Wahabu of their plans just yet ... Though, by now he probably knew why she was here.

Wahabu's smile widened a little at the look on Sheshe's face, it made him a little more comfortable to know she was happy about it- she was giving a very good first impression, and if his father was happy with it.. why should Habu be happy with it? He watched his father walk by and into the den, offering to show Sheshe around.

"I won't intrude, I think I'm going to go for a walk," he mumbled, now having more to think about and seeing less and less of a chance of him actually getting to sleep now.

Sheshe's ears swept forward at the prospect of seeing her new home. There wasn't a thing in the world she wasn't happy about, not today. Everything was just...a dream. A dream that was never going to end, because Kizamaji was in it and by her side. "I'd love to."

She too started to pad forward, pausing to smile again at Wahabu, a quiet and shining 'Thank you.'
