LOL this one might be weird, ghosts who I can have tea with and chat (mind you, FRIENDLY ghosts please whee ) and 2 children who i shall dress in loli oh and a carrige and beutiful stallions instead of a car, so much more... oh dear. How will i be able to afford this? xd EDIT: here are some nice house piccies heart

I'd like a Victorian house too but maybe not such a big one. I'm not great with big houses. Under 5 bedrooms is good for me, maybe a study and a library and a parlor too.
I'd like either a blue or green house, and if it's not too big inside I'd LOVE a large garden with some veggies and lots of flowers. Sunflowers, really tall ones if it was warm enough.

ooh I would love to live in a little house with a BIG yard and grow my own veggies and herbs (like my mom) and own a bunny who can run around and I'd live with one of my friends who also wants a house like that!
And I'd make food all the time!

And I'd make food all the time! Yay! That's my dream too! I used to love Victorian houses until I started watching A Haunting on the Discovery Channel. I still like them, but I'm used to living in a small house. But I'd like a bigger one. Maybe like the sea cottage that Bill and Fleur Weasley live in during the 7th HP book.

I've seen lots of different victorian houses in my area. My aunt and uncle live in one the next town over, and I love it. Although, it could use some serious cleaning... sweatdrop A lot of people describe their house as "the house with all the crap in the backyard and the old yellow thing back there, too." I laughed when I first heard that. I love it, especially being upstairs in one of the rooms with all white things. It makes it so pretty, and it's so cute! There's also this newer house that has pretty grass all around, and the house is so nice. It's next to the freeway, so I don't think I could survive all that noise and traffic.

My dream home... would be one of those small Victorian townhouses. Because I get scared when there are many too rooms. xDDDD
It would be a brownstone building, with 3 or 4 bedrooms, a parlor, a dining room, and a spacious kitchen and basement. It would have an attic too, since I've never had an attic before. xDDDD And it would have a medium-sized garden. The area wouldn't take up too much space, and be bordered with black fencing and a gate.

My cousin lives in a condo that's part of a converted Victorian townhouse. It's was actually three smaller houses that have been built together over time. The original molding has been replaced with replica wood and plaster inside, but the ventilation windows and all of the outside decor is original--and it's gorgeous. It makes a really fabulous contrast with their furniture and the like inside. Everything they have is very sleek and contemporary, so it's pretty wonderful.
Ideally, if I ever have the money, I would love to buy one of the painted ladies in St. Louis and fully restore the building and plant a garden in whatever space there was in back. This would probably be post-children, however, and mostly for the sake of show/historical preservation. I took an architectural tour of the city when I was probably about ten and fell in love with the painted ladies and the shotgun houses that they have in the older parts of town. They're so funny, all lined up in rows like shoe boxes, but so beautiful in their own ways.
Granted, they're a fire hazard, so bunched in together as they are, but. Gah. I love them so much.

Yeah, there's this pretty small Victorian house near me (maybe I will take pictures of it one day when I'm bored. It's like, two or three floors, and it's a nice yellow. x3 The only thing I don't like about it... is that it's right next to a church. x_x I personally hate churches. I forgot if anyone lives in that house, or if it's abandoned or just there. xD
But yeah, my comfort zone is just a whole floor or two to myself, and I'm usually the type that doesn't like going into a room by myself unless I can get complete silence or if I can get something to do in that room. And if it's really spacious, I'll be by whatever's cluttered in that room.

I want a teeny tiny house. lol. Just big enough for me and my adopted baby. :3
There are many reasons I want a small house; cheaper, easier to clean, can't loose things as easily, etc.
But I think the real reason I want a small house is because it would remind me of when I was younger and had lots of fun living at my grandmas house. It was nice and small. Two bedrooms upstairs, one for my sister and I and one for my grandparents. A tiny living room that transitioned into a kitchen and one bathroom downstairs. There was a backyard at one time, I guess, but ever since I can remember its been nothing but garden in that tiny square of land.
I have so many drafts and drawings of my dream house. And I'm always making them on The Sims. Tehehe.
