I was watching the Nascar Countdown to green on ESPN2 on Saturday (today) before the Busch race and I heard Rusty Wallace saying that Gibbs may sign up with Toyota next year. I'm definately going to be looking into this. Has anybody else heard anything? PS: I think it was Rusty talking about.

I heard DW talk about that. It would be great if Toyota could get Gibbs , they really need to get some superstars to join their efforts.

Dave Blaney finally cracked the top 35 in points, making him the only Toyota to be there I believe. They sure need a team like Gibbs to bolster them right now.

HA HA I think bow tie just shot themselves in the foot DOH exclaim Recently they had a huge meeting with all chevy teams... except one gibbs... its rumored that GM didn't want to converse with a potential rival team, even though nothing is official yet. And both J.D. and Joe did not take that lightly. Gibbs welcome to Toyota lol

Well, it's not Official yet. Gibbs will make the announcement on Wednesday.
At any rate, I feel this is a risky move for Gibbs. They could kick a** and get Toyota up to speed, or they could fall flat on their face and become an 'also ran' for a few years.

Well Toyota has done this 3 times before once in cart (big payoff), once in F1 (jury is still out on that one...espicially now with there possible new 40 million driver next year lol), and once in rally(so so result). So 4th time is a charm right sweatdrop ...hope so.
