Pride Rock loomed in the distance in front of Roho, larger than life. It was closer than he usually wandered to the monumental rock structure, but he felt he knew the land further away from the heart of the Pridelands rather well. A change of pace was much needed. And perhaps some company for the pleasant morning walk.
But despite how close he was getting to the 'heart' of the lands, there seemed to be a distinct lack of activity anywhere in sight. Where were all the pride members? Was it too early for them to be up and about? Was everyone in the lands having a late morning? Sure, dawn hadn't been all that long ago, but surely someone had to be moving around.
He cast his chocolatey eyes across the landscape once more, and then sighed despondently. He supposed he'd either have to resign himself to a few hours of wandering aimlessly in solitude, or else try and take a nap somewhere. Though, he wasn't tired at all, so he wondered how he'd manage that slightly more appealing option.
