I dunno- I love them both! For me cooking is a bit more fun, because you get to be a part of the whole process. You make it on the stove or grill and see it all happen, whereas in baking you stick it in the oven and don't get to see what happens. Still, in baking you get yummy things like cookies and bread... whee

But with baking you can make cakes, cookies, flaun, e.t.c then decorate them!

I'm all about Cooking! I prefer the freedom in being able to change things at the drop of a hat, whereas in baking you have to follow the recipe closely, and I'm not that good at it. XD I don't hate it mind you, I just prefer to cook. wink

I love both. I love the flexibility of cooking but I also love how, with making, you have to know what you're doing or else your result will be a mess. I love a challenge biggrin

I lean more towards cooking, but I do enjoy baking as well.

Cooking for me, baking is just too precise and methodical. I like the freedom of experimentation and higher rate of success you can get with cooking. Though it does make cooking harder to write down a good recipe and method. How do you precisely say, "Just a dash of rosemary so that it has that hint of flavour and not a full hostile take over of the dish."

I like baking. It feels safe and warm and it makes me feel maternal. It's like a hug that makes food.

There are pros and cons to both!!!
Baking has tasty ingredients and is easier for me, but cooking is more fun because it is more interactive; it is easier to add your own ingredients to make it even better.

Currently I prefer baking because I really haven't gotten a chance to cook. Although I might get into a tech school which'll hep me!
