So I got this new baby rat. We have no idea how old she is but she's maybe 6" long (not incuding the tail) and very calm and placid. Her name is Nyota and I'm looking for info on training her. =) I've heard that you can litter train rats. Anyone know how I might go about doing so? And how many tricks can rats learn? I know I want to teach her to stand up and to spin in a circle but I need ideas/tips on how to actually train her. I'm training her to come when called by putting her in an enclosed room and calling her, giving her a little peice of trail mix as a treat (either a nut, a raisin, or dried fruit). Just looking for some pointers. =) Can anyone give me a hand?
