Since i've been pregnant i've had a few pap smears done and all that wonderful junk and nothing came up aside from the fact that at one point I had a yeast infection.
I knew I had it, and I had for a decent amount of time. I changed my diet in hopes that maybe it'd go away on it's own because my boyfriend and I had fallen on hard times and couldn't afford $15 medication let alone food to feed ourselves or gas to get anywhere.
Things got better, got the medication, took as directed, and now it's gone...
My question is what are the effects of having a long term yeast infection?
Since about March (when the infection started) i've had these sort of lumps down there and they wont go away and got worse as the months went on during the infection. The doctors havn't said anything about them and my pap smears have been fine. Sometimes they're really hard and hurt and other times they're soft and just like extra skin? I don't really know how to describe it. I've never shaved in the area that they are so they're not ingrown hairs or anything like that. They kinda remind me of skin tags if you know what those are... But they're like zits too? I don't know. Gross as it may be i've popped a few and it was like popping a zit kinda... Just no white puss all over... And they bleed really dark blood. I don't know what the hell it is and I wish I could get rid of it because it makes me very self conscious. My boyfriend always wants to touch there and all that mess and he knows the issue, we both got tested, but regardless I don't want him down there.

First off, you can get ingrown hairs even if you never shave.
It's possible they're skin tags as well. Higher friction areas (inner thighs, underside of your upper arms) are prone to skin tags.
Guess what I'm going to say? Just guess.
If you said, see your doctor, you're right.

I've already seen my doctor all he said was that I had a yeast infection. I get checked out a lot due to being pregnant. *shrugs*

HEH, okay, I missed you saying you were pregnant. Yeast infections are INSANELY common during pregnancy. In fact, women who have never had them often get their first during pregnancy.
Also, it's tough to completely rid of it while you're pregnant. Chances are, until that kiddo comes out, you're still kind of have on, on and off, unless you're lucky.
Yeast infections don't really cause damage, so a long-term one doesn't leave anything a 2 day one wouldn't... which is nothing.
As far as the skin tags/zit things, all I can say is, talk to your doctor.
