I know there's no way anyone here could tell me, beyond a shadow of a doubt, if I'm pregnant or not, but I still have to ask.
Ever since last month, my body has been acting strangely, which might be why I've been second guessing myself. I had a mild pregnancy scare (I didn't even really think I was preggers but got a test anyway) last month because I was feeling a bit bloated, off, and crampy, despite the fact I was a good ways from my period. Of course, a day after I tested negatively, I got my period (I tested the day my period should have started). Now, I've started to have slight pains in the abdomen; can't really be described as cramping, but they were -strange-. For about two weeks, I've had INCREDIBLY sore breasts (only in the n****e area) and I've been bloated. My period isn't due 'till much later in the month, and though my periods can be fairly irregular, I'm just a little curious. I tested negative around the 10th or so of last month, and now my body's just acting all.. -strange-.
I find it very odd that I'm being so passive about it all, when I almost felt I would have aborted at this age (20.) Now, I can't help but think, "What would I really do?" especially when I have a military husband who's pretty excited about the idea of a baby (excited enough to mess with me and tell me, "You're preggers!" every time a bring it up).
Anyway, just curious! I wanted to know if my breast soreness and cramping could be anything other than being preggers. I'm sure there are other things, but I just can't think of it. Also, I have been feeling really fatigued.

I hate to say it but your symptoms sound exactly like mine when I first got pregnant. neutral But.....test to be sure. The test is what can tell you more accurately than we can. As for other things that the symptoms could mean, from one of the stickies in this forum.... Quote: Pregnancy Symptom: Delay of Menstruation. Time of Appearance: During entire pregnancy Other Possible Causes: Excessive weight gain or loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, going off the birth control pill or breast feeding. Pregnancy Symptom: Nausea and vomiting. Time of Appearance: 2 - 8 weeks after conception. Other Possible Causes: Food poisoning, stress and variety of other stomach disorders. Pregnancy Symptom: Tender or swollen breasts. Time of Appearance: 1 - 2 weeks after conception. Other Possible Causes: Hormonal imbalance, birth control pills, impending menstruation. Pregnancy Symptom: Feeling exhausted or "sleepy". Time of Appearance: 1 -6 weeks after conception. Other Possible Causes: Stress, fatigue, depression and other physical and mental strains. Can also be the common cold or flu. Pregnancy Symptom: Backaches. Time of Appearance: During entire pregnancy. Other Possible Causes: A variety of back problems and physical or mental strains. Pregnancy Symptom: Frequent headaches. Time of Appearance: Sometimes during entire pregnancy. Other Possible Causes: Dehydration, caffeine withdrawal, eye strain and other ailments. Pregnancy Symptom: Food cravings. Time of Appearance: During entire pregnancy. Other Possible Causes: Poor diet, stress, depression and impending menstruation. Pregnancy Symptom: Darkening of areola (breast n****e). Time of Appearance: First signs 1 - 14 weeks after conceptions and then throughout pregnancy. Other Possible Causes: Hormonal imbalance. Pregnancy Symptom: Fetal movements. Time of Appearance: 16 - 22 week after conception (4 - 5.5 months). Other Possible Causes: Gas, lower gastrointestinal bowl contractions. Pregnancy Symptom: Frequent urination. Time of Appearance: 6 - 8 weeks after conception. Other Possible Causes: Diabetes, urinary tract infection, taking excessive diuretics causing urination. Pregnancy Symptom: Fetal heart beat. Time of Appearance: 10 - 20 weeks and then throughout entire pregnancy. Early detection using sensitive microphones, e.g. Doppler. Other Possible Causes: None.

Wow.. so I've got fatigue, frequent urination, tender and swollen breasts and frequent headaches. I know these could all be pretty easily dismissed, especially since my period should be arriving within the next week, but still. I was almost sure it wouldn't be far later in the month, and all of these pre-period symptoms never used to come so early.
I won't test again 'till I've officially missed a period, but I still can't believe how passive I'm being about the entire ordeal. XD

Well it's a 50/50 you could be having a bad period or you might be pregnant. I personally didn't go through many of the symptoms you are going through, I just gained some weight and missed my period. There's a chance that when you took the first test it was just still too early to detect the hormone changes in your urine.

Hmm, that could be true. I guess I haven't been thinking too much about that because I had a very heavy, long period right after the negative test.

Well, and also, the frequency in urination is not an early pregnancy sign anyway. That's caused by the uterus growing and pushing against your bladder, which, by the time it's becoming an issue, almost every single woman has known she's pregnant for a little while.
And Dia, oddly enough, every false pregnancy scare of mine, I was all crazy and kind of excited and whatnot. But the real one... well... I was two months pregnant when I found out. I was INSANELY passive about it, to the point where I'd been ignoring my always-perfectly-scheduled period. And when I took the test, I wasn't sitting there all super excited and hoping for a positive like all the false scares... the real time, looking at the stick was totally... totally different. It's kind of like your sub-conscious knows before you do. I've heard plenty of other people say the same thing.
And this sounds really weird... but have you had a dream that you're pregnant?

I was with one of my good friends when I took the test, and she was all jumping up and down screaming while I was just kind of sitting there going..."Oh, okay, cool."

Wow. XD
Well, I've actually had numerous dreams about being pregnant. I'm not sure if I've been thinking about it more since my husband is such a tease about it, or if... something in me knows already. I really don't know.
I'm probably feeling so passive because nothing about this seems real. Despite more logical, nudging thoughts, I'm sitting back in the cool shade of, "Nah, ain't me, I'm not pregnant."
Technically, my period should start in about four days, five at the latest. I just don't know, since they can be a little irregular.

I had an irregular period so when I "missed" a period I just ignored it because who wants a period anyhow? I had one in November and then again the first week of January so when I didn't have one in February I didn't think anything of it. I had taken tests before and they all came up negative so I wasn't about to waste the money on what I thought would be another negative test. I noticed my clothes were getting tighter, and I passed it off as bloating and kept telling myself that I was going to start my period soon. I was tired all the time but I just passed that off as all the hours I had been putting in at work. I started feeling sick and passed that off as having something similar to the flu because so many people had been sick at my work. I had called off from work a few times and finally the last time my boyfriend made me go to the doctor. So we went and they insisted on taking a pregnancy test after I told them what was going on. I just kinda laughed at them and told them they can do that if they want to waste there time because my boyfriend was rendered sterile and wasn't supposed to be able to have kids. Haha, yeah well the doctor did the blood work and half an hour later she came back "I have good news" and I just kinda snapped back at her "Yeah, I know, i'm not pregnant!" and she was like "No... You ARE" and I cried... And cried... And cried some more. Haha. I ignored all the signs and I was having dreams about being pregnant too. I kinda knew deep down I was but I mean my boyfriend wasn't supposed to be able to have kids so how could I have been? Regardless of the test results I didn't believe I was pregnant until I got my first ultrasound. I had taken at least 5 pregnancy tests all positive, and I still didn't believe it.
If you really want to know and your periods tend to be irregular get a test done by your doctor... That was the point to my wall of text. D: Sorry.

In my case I had no idea, because I hadn't actually had my period since October of last year (weird medical story, if you wanna know pm me). I'm just naturally paranoid about things like this. When I found out I was pregnant in February I was so excited I was going out of my mind. Except I didn't immediately tell my mom so I was sort of secretly going insane with excitement.

Goodness, Samasu! Watch that happen to me sometime. I'm usually a fairly paranoid person, and just when I get lax about things, I'll get pregnant. I know it.
In any case, the irregular period has struck again! I just got it way earlier than usual. I don't feel relieved or sad or -anything-, really... just, "Ugh. Another period."
It's strange. I have been very adverse to getting pregnant, but when I tested that first time last month, I was a little disappointed it wasn't positive. Either way, it's probably a good thing I'm not. Maybe a part of me would like to think I'm capable of getting pregnant. I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the seventh grade, and I was belatedly informed that chemotherapy treatment can damage your chances or render you infertile or something. I never really followed up on it.
As for the dreams, only a couple have seemed realistic... but they were all very soft with that typical dream-fuzz, so it was probably only a result of my husband's teasing. Not to mention that I have a couple of friends that have dreamt of me being pregnant. XP I need to be even more careful now.
Thank you everyone for your advice and help! If I need anymore, or if I have any crazy scares, I'll be sure to come back. XD

I got two negative result tests and when it came to me being about 21 days late i was worrying thinking something was wrong with me. My partner told me to do another test and it was positive and im now got my due date 30th of march. So just wait for your period and if it doesnt come on the date it should wait a week then do a test just to be sure. I suggest clearblue they are very accurate.
