Ok. So you all know I love the books. But when my ex-friend Sam got into the books, this is exactly what happened.
(The blonde is Sam. The other one is her friend Tay, who for some reason hates me, and has never been nice to me, even before I knew her.

It's a shame. After this happened, Sam kept getting meaner and more petty until we stopped hanging out at all.

Discuss:
Have your friends gone wacko after Twilight?
Did a book ever ruin your friendship?
Do you think I'm skilled with MS Paint?

None of my friends are big readers and haven't read Twilight, so I can't say yes to the first and second questions. I did get into an mini-argument with a girl I'd met in class who liked Twilight (she kept putting Jacob down while I tried to defend him; what else is new), but we weren't really friends in the first place. More classmate acquaintances.

And yes, you're skilled with MS Paint ;D

That's called Over Obsessive Annoying Mother ******** Fan Girl Syndrome. A lot of girls are known to have, I once had it but my friend cured me. Anyways, it's annoying and noobish! It just shows their immaturity level.

Yes, in the wacko way just obsessing over it and everything brings us back to Edward and the book! Yes. They say I remind them of Bella because of my ex and my personality.

No, I got my friends into it and we all love Edward and such, but it hasn't done anything to our friendship.

Sorry, no.

If anything Twilight is another thing my friends and I have in common. We all like to obsess over it to a degree. I know we'd never get so obsessed that it would even come close to hurting our relationship though. After all, it's just a book.

Immaturity.

That's simply what it is.
If you can't be mature over a BOOK, then you have some issues.

Not to say that I don't love the books..because I do..but they are fictional. Fictional. Although we love them to death, there is no reason to act so immature about it.

On my own part...my friends love it and we talk about it and stuff. Discuss; have our immature fangirl moments[not dissing others or saying 'he's mine' and such. Moments where we are like, "OMGOSH! Edward's words here were the best!!! <33"], maybe, but never obssess to the point of ruining our relationship. If anything, it helps us grow closer with something to talk about.

If I meet anyone and they act that way..I'll simply ignore them and drop the subject. You can have 'fights'[mature debates] without really ruining anything. Like trying to convince someone that Jacob is good...I'll convince and listen what they have to say, but I'm not going to let either of us get to the point of being annoying immature fan girls. I like mature conversations; that's it.
So...
Yes; in a good way.
No; never will let it, either.
Sure. :]

Have your friends gone wacko after Twilight? Hah, yes, but not a bad wacko.

Did a book ever ruin your friendship?

Do you think I'm skilled with MS Paint?totally.

So, what exactly happened?

one of my friends decided to love edward. fortunately, i was used to this behavior from her-- she has a habit of falling madly in love with any main male character in any book, manga, tv show, or movie. it's rather sad when you think about it.
but that wasn't what stopped us talking to eachother.
as for you former friend...
i would advise printing out stephenie's description of bella on her website, highlighting at least the following line:

Quote:
Bella is very fair-skinned, with long, straight, dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes.
you should also consider copying the pagewhere the first sit together in the biology room and highlighting the part where bella's hair forms a dark curtain between them. staple the two pages together and drop them on her desk during class, smiling manically the whole time.

then, remind the bipolar chick that Alice is always happy, therefore cannot be anything like her. tell her how you just tore through twilight in (however long it took you) and suggest that she perhaps read something more to her reading level, such as the magic treehouse.

That's the exact same thing with my friend, except our love for Twilight has actually made us better friends.

One of my friends hate me because I wouldn't let her borrow my New Moon.

*gigglesnort* I was thinking the same thing. Obviously they weren't paying much attention while they were reading the book. *sigh* The immature fan girls always tick me off. It's like Twilight is some new fad to them. They read the book, but their thought process is like "Edward's so HOT. Bella's so LUCKY. Alice is so COOL." They kind of miss any meaning in the book at all.

i was rather immature when i first read twilight, too.
an eighth grader, you see.
i didn't even understand why bella couldn't say full sentences to james back in the hotel room when they were on the phone.
i really did appreciate the quality of the work, though, and i hate it when people don't.

Okay, thats simply ridiculous. Neither of those girls remind me of any characters from Twilight and such. Wait, scratch that:
The bipolar chick is Lauren or Jessica and the blond chick is Rosalie. Just an observation.
And my friends say I remind them of Bella cause I've always been a clutz and I have the same hair and eyes. But I have to disagree. Vampires are incredible though.
Anywho, Twilight and new Moon haven't wrecked any friendships for me, it actually brought me closer to my best friend. But still, those girls are crazy!!!! Stupid noobs/teenies...
