The school was built when the first musical note was plucked.
And with every melody, more was added to its structure.
Every song made it stronger, every lyric gave it detail.
After a long time, the school was discovered upon accident.
With joy, it opened its gates to all who wanted to perform.
Welcoming any one with any background,
from any culture, with any talent,
hoping with all its might that its ancient halls would rub greatness
into the hearts that attended.
However, to the school, and the accidental founder’s dismay,
only children with special abilities could attend the school.
For mankind had become too corrupt in their hearts
to experience the pure joy of performance,
to truly experience great art.
And so, the school was only to be attended by the children
with special gifts, and would only allow
the teachers with the necessary requirements to teach within its grounds.
As time passed, the school lost hope in
ever welcoming a human within its grounds, and in depression,
went into slumber, but the students continued to attend,
and the teachers continued to teach. But the magic seemed to be lost,
and the legend of the school seemed to vanish over time...

If one goes through the front gates of Cavatina, the Courtyard is where they will be. The Courtyard is where students meet and converse with one another before school, after school, or during breaks.

There are two stages: One indoor, and one outdoor. Most of the time performances are at the outdoor stage, but if weather is rough, they use the indoor stage. The outdoor stages is mainly for band concerts and choir concerts, while the indoor stage is mainly for drama performances. Dance performances can be performed indoors or outdoors.

The park is basically for students while break is on. Usually, during class, students are taken here for outdoor activities. Owen Rylee, the student/teacher of the school, usually holds classes here as well, saying that 'the outdoors can sooth the mind, relinquish creativity', and so on.

Basically, there are three dorms: The Western dorm, the Eastern dorm, and the Northern Dorm. Each building has about 2 floors so far, and there are ten rooms for each floor. Each room is quite large, with a kitchen perfect for the culinary artist, a large living room, two master bedrooms, and a large corner for students to use as an instrument corner or something of the sort. Each dorm room has a balcony/deck with a view of the lakeshore.
The Eastern Dorm is naturally built for humans' comfort, so all humans are addressed to that dorm. Other creatures and the like are free to room in the Eastern Dorm as well, but those who do not prefer to live within a building full of humans are free to stay at the Western Dorm.
Also, there is the Northern Dorm, a building made solely for angels and the like. It's closest up to the mountain, near the heavens. For angels, it is quite easy to travel up to their dorms, as no one ever ventures there on foot.
- Humans can visit friends in the Western Dorm.
- No other student except for angels are allowed at the Northern Dorms, unless given permission by one of them.
- So far, no curfew is required.
- Boys and girls are allowed inside the same room, so long as they don't do anything brash.

History: He was born as a human, but his close death with a werewolf caused him to be half human, half 'demon',as his parents thought of him as. Throughout the years, he has now controlled his werewolf side, so it rarely comes out, though he has obtained animal senses and movement. His parents sent him off when he was 16, and found himself in front of the Cavatina School gates. The headmaster loved him for his talent of the guitar and the piano, and with controlling himself and his 'werewolf' side, so he was assigned as Dragon Tamer, and Student Teacher.
Special Abilities: 'Werewolf' Abilities. He can run at quite a fast speed, and he can partially communicate with wolves. He can even turn himself into a werewolf intentionally. History: As a child Renji would be teased for being a Demgel. Not many of them exist but Renji wouldn't care. He thought it made him better than just being an angel or just a demon. And when his kindergarden teacher made him lead singer in a school play Renji's reassurance of his senority over others was proven. This is Renji's last year at the school and so far he hasn't had anyone try to match his abilites and status.

He went as far as to lie to his neighbors about even having a grandson and forcing Gavin to take the shape of a black sheep whenever anyone came to visit. As a result, Gavin spent his childhood practically alone, starving, and more often than not, overworked.

History: Being a Halfling, Fiala had a hard time finding acceptance anywhere before Cavatina. This life of isolation taught her to become the distanced, somewhat socially inept, fiercely independent girl she is today.

History: She was born into a family of thieves, to a drunk, gambling, loving father (what? Drunks can be loving. Tristam's the happy, giggly kind of drunk) and a street-smart mother, Saraneth. One night, while Saraneth was out on a thieving job, Tristam was responsible for baby Key. He, of course, took her to the local bar and began playing. He lost everything, and the hooded stranger was really getting on his nerves, so he made one final bet - his daughter. He, of course, lost, and the cloaked mystery man turned out to be a djinni prince and was happy to take the young Key for a future bride. Saraneth, storming in just in time, caught the two and, all while beating the tar out of her husband, bargained with the djinni prince for her daughter. The outcome was, finally, this: Key is very easily killed, her immune system lower than most people, but she has 100 lives to spend. When the number drops to zero, she's automatically whisked to the Djinni plane.
After Key, a small child now, fell off a cliff for fun for the third time, Saraneth and Tristam decided to hire a

Description/Personality: |+| He's everything Key's not - a good student, gifted in magic, quiet, reserved, and not as earsplitting to listen to. Normally stuck behind a cookbook, he's ready to help anyone with anything. Really really really really doesn't like spiders, and really really really likes to cook. He also likes to cast magic, but because of his race, he's unable to easily use white magics - it hurts him a lot.
History: He comes from a long line of strong, proud vampires, and is the youngest of five. While his older three brothers and sisters were out fighting and scuffling with the other young vampires, he was out back, playing with flowers or watching the cooks do their thing, learning from watching them bake and fry. For his apparant weakness, he was often picked on and beaten. His parents, ashamed for having such a wretch in the family, sought to get rid of him. They found an ad in the paper asking for a guardian, full-time, and they lied, saying they'd send their older son, but instead sending Sanadel. Nevertheless, he was accepted into the family, and formed a very strong bond with Key that she thought of as brotherly, but he... well, he thought it was something different entirely.
As the years wore on, he aged the same as Key - his breed of vampires do until they hit 20. The word of his magic got around until a message of acceptance into the school arrived. The rest is history.

Description/Personality: |x| Very unpredictable, unstable, and the like. She gets turned on by men who sing and doesn't care for what race is what. Unfortunately for her, the only person who could see her is Ameagari since she is just a hallucination by Ameagari. Even so, she tries to get together with other people but fails miserably. Ameagari, being diagnosed as Schizophrenic, has hallucinations of people who don't exist, such as Raerae. So far, Raerae is the only hallucination that comes back practically every other day. Any other will only come for a day or so then leave, not planning on returning. Raerae takes pleasure in convincing Ameagari to kill herself, although lately it takes a lot of talking and compromising to get Ameagari to even consider it.
History: She first appeared to Ameagari when she first arrived to this school. Ameagari later found out that she was the only one who could see and hear her.

Description/Personality: |x| He enjoys painting and flower arranging. What he paints is usually flowers. Otherwise, he may paint random people or scenes out of his dreams. Although he is passionate about flowers, Inna isn't all that nice or friendly. He likes to smoke, even if it isn't allowed in the school, and vandalize people's property. He tried vandalizing the school itself, but it didn't turn out the way he had planned it. Even though he does vandalize peoples stuff, most people don't care because of what he spraypaints on it. He spraypaints beautiful flowers that bloom as soon as the owner of the item finds it.
History: He was named after the Russian martyr Inna, a male student of the Apostle Andrei who was often misidentified as a woman. He comes from a long line of Ice Elementals that are prone to live in Russia, although he was sent to this school when his parents figured out his special talent.
Special Abilities: He uses a special technique that makes the flowers bloom as soon as he finishes arranging them. He uses a similar technique with painting. He paints closed flowers and as soon as he finishes, the flowers bloom.

She's the new kid at the school so she doesn't know very many people. She likes pretty much all sweets save for really rich cakes. She loves violent movies, and if provoked, will proceed to beat the living daylights out of you.
History: She was adopted by a music teacher when she was a child and learned everything she knew from her. She never knew her real parents, but it doesn't really bother her too much. Her adoptive mother is just fine with her. She had no friends at her old school either, but she doesn't mind solitude in the least. It gave her time to study.

His personality is usually soft, but when provoked, he can be as cold as the ice he makes. He was enlisted at Cavatina two years ago and is currently roommates with Garrett.

Special Abilities: Fire Manipulation.

History:
