-Young legs carried the tiny wobbly body as her large bright eyes widened softly in case of a butterfly. The pup was only a newborn, hardly old enough to take much care of her self. But she was old enough to play. And besides, mother was sleeping.
Nose sniffing the air gently, she wobbled once more as her tail wagged, pulling her behind along with it, before continuing on towards the watering hole.-

Chafuka... had no clue where the heck he was. But the important thing was, he was far from his family, who let his specialness be buried under the mountain of siblings he had. Now he was free to find someone who could and would truly appreciate him.
Wandering along through the southlands, exploring still, a flash of white caught his eye. White and blue, he amended, looking at the small female wobbling around. Younger than he was, he could see. Probably not going to be a good conversationalist at her age, but that could be a good thing. He might be able to teach her just how wonderful he was.
"Uh.. hi, there!" he called out to the petite little female, changing his course to move toward her.

-Eyes swayed from the butterfly towards the voice as it sounded, pausing softly, before instinctually her tiny paws began to carry herself his way. She was too young yet to understand about danger or caution, ecspecially considering her own parents, so only curiousity laced her features as she neared, taking in the white and brown of his pelt.
He looked kind of like Oni? But he was most certainly a daddy. Not a sibling. She could smell it. Or so she thought atleast, coming from a family of all girls and having not yet met another male then her father. And that misinformation only steadied her steps.- "Hi there." -She echo'd back, though from her face it was clear to see she understood the words.-

Chafuka looked down at the younger female, and for a moment he faltered. This was the first encounter he'd had since he'd run away from home. How was he to express how truly wonderful an addition to the world he was? Especially to someone so young... It could just go through one ear and out the other, and some of his valuable time would have been lost on her. Though she seemed to understand the simpler things, like greetings, he still had little hope she'd be able to grasp how astoundingly brilliant and complex he was.
"Um... what's your name?" Questions, questions. He needed to know what this little girl could take in. And, of course, he needed to be polite, even though he naturally saw himself as superior to everything around him. People would not be brought into realisation of how fantastic he was if he was unkind. Lowering himself would always go over well, he thought.

-It was her size and personality that would trick one into believing her lack of understanding. True.. she might not yet be accquainted with the customs of greetings or the other life lessons that she would soon be learning, but Bana was like a sponge for information.
Every word she heard from her mother or father, or even the more complex ones from her grandmother, the pack leader soaked into her brain, and she pieced it together gently. But she was mostly a listener, and so it seemed that she was rather 'slow' as she looked up at this elder pup. In truth she was far wiser then the average few day old pup, and such would be a trend throughout her little life. One only needed to get her to talk.
Her tail swayed once more softly with the greeting, and she replied softly before looking at him curiously, as if trying to get him to say more, something else interesting.- "Banafrit."

At the one word answer he received from the little pup, he faltered once more. Not even a full sentence given in reply. Granted, she'd said all she really needed to to answer his question, but more would have been a show of the intelligence he was looking for. He had to remind himself she was so young, or he would have given up on her completely at that moment.
"All right, Banafrit," he continued, forcing his voice to remain pleasant to not let his growing weariness with her enter his tone, "why are you around here?" She was young, so there was likely someone with her. Maybe someone older and with more brains, he reasoned. Or maybe she had been abandoned even at this age... in which case, maybe he'd able to tolerate her enough to invite her along. Then he could teach her how wonderful he was as they went, and she would grow knowing well his true magnificence.

-She looked confused for a moment, ear perking mildly as if trying to make sure she'd heard him correctly, but when no new words were added the softest hints of a young laugh sounded and she chided as if he were the young one.- "You are supposed to be around where you live."
-It seemed like a silly thing to say however, so she added mildly, dropping her voice the way grandma did when she thought they were sleeping.- "I'm learning while mama is sleeping. She won't worry that I'm too far if she's dreaming I am close."

Chafuka's mind swam with mixed annoyance and jubilation. He didn't like the slight chide he detected in her voice (how dare she?), but at least it was a full sentence. That was most certainly something. "So, you live around here, hm?" His pale eyes swivelled to take in their surroundings, but all he could see was a lot of nothing, all looking the same as the nothing that came before it. "Where?"
Ah, so she belonged to someone. He could hardly take her to teach her the ways of his greatness if someone was going to come looking for her. But still, maybe there was someone more.. interesting nearby. Her attitude was rather... strange to him, putting aside how young she was. "And.. what are you hoping to learn just wandering around?" He needed to figure out this little pup's weirdness if he was going to teach her himself.

-She didn't take notice to any discontent he might have shown, tail swaying at that continually slow but contented pace, ears lifting mildly as he spoke.-
"Here. Forest packlands." -Her eyes shifted to the treeline mildly. There was probably more to it then just 'the forest'. But as of yet mother had only told her things about staying in the forest, so the whole thing seemed like a good enough home.
His third question however was a more difficult one, and she paused for a moment, before finally offering an enthusiastic reply.- "Well... everything I suppose! I don't know a whole lot now. So there is so much to learn left."
"I was trying to see where butterflies go.." -She added lightly, glancing around for the butterfly that was by now long gone.-

"There's a pack in the forest?" He'd never heard of one, but to be honest, he never wandered around trying to find information about others. His main and only concern was himself, and wandering around sooner or later brought him into contact with someone new, hopefully someone who wasn't blinded to his brilliance. He had no interest in such people.
For a few moments, he considered getting her to lead him to this forest pack. For even fewer moments, he considered seeing if he could join. But the idea was quickly discarded. Adults had a predisposition to think pups knew nothing and therefore were unimortant, and were the most stubborn to convince that he was wonderful. His parents had flat refused to even entertain the idea that he deserved more attention than the rest of the litter, and so he had gone away.
"Are you in that much of a hurry to learn? You're still so young." Besides, he thought, she should instead be learning about how wonderful he was. Yes, vanity was the constant theme of the pup's mind.
"Butterflies?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. What was so interesting about butterflies? Sure, some of them were pretty, but they were boring to watch. They just flitted around and never did anything interesting that he could see.

-Her young head bobbed up and down in a mild nod, puppy ears flopping in almost a silly fashion.- "Yes, we live here 'cause it's safe! Grandma said so. And.. and..!"
-A sound of excitement touched her little voice in the form of a whine, as the vision of what she was about to talk about filled her little mind.- "Spirits keep us safe! At night the adults wake up REALLY late, and bark and dance around with the glowing spirits!"
-She'd pulled out of sleep in time to see it before, the adults giving tribute to the fireflies that to her seemed like some great beacon of grandour. Oh how her eyes sparkled with pride, until they turned once more to the older pup, and a smile grew on her maw.-
"What else is there to do but learn and know?"
-Her head twitched mildly at his next question, and she fell silent pondering the question quite seriously.- "Mhmm. But now that I don't see any around, I won't."
-Standing, she padded forward another stuff, little nose sniffing out towards him.- "You smell different, where do you go?"

-Mother's voice sounded not long afterwards, worried whimper echoing through the woods, and Bana was forced to leave far earlier than she'd have liked to. Nonetheless, she'd gotten out a few more questions, filed away a few more answers, becoming more and more intranced in the many things the older pup knew. He was sooo smart, and she liked him, yes she did. But for now she had to go home.
Smiling a little softly, she gave him one final tail wag before turning to hobble back off to momma.- "Maybe you can teach me again! See you soon."
