Rivei Ima go ahead and throw my two cents in. Ive installed phpbb & xmb myself quite a few times, and host my own boards on my site. As well as modded on a few other flavors of forum. This isnt to say people havent done a good job, or that my suggestion is the end all be all of categorization. Merely me saying how Id do it if I had a hand in the matter :3 (Jebus, there's twenty two subforums!)
Mod Talk - Announcements, Stickies, suggestions and guild improvement
PPS Newspaper - Planning, critiques and Issues
PPS Events - Contests, challenges and events
Gaian Events - Plots, gaia news, town homes and rallies
Avatar Chatter - Fashion, tekteking and item discussion
Post Games - self explanatory
Roleplay Room - where'd I put my hobbit feet?
Pengy Bistro - informal 'lets chat and get to know each other' area
Television/Movies - Reviews and such
Gaming - games, console fights
Music - songs, videos...infect us with your favorite indie band no one has heard of?
Books - The book club, chat on authors (and HP spoilers!)
Artisan Corner - Poetry, short stories, art
Intellectual - Politics, debates
Issues - Health, irl issues, causes
Technical - Computer advice, html/css & profile help
Beauty/Fashion - Hair and fashion tips etc
Shutterbug - Pets, people, interesting photos
Quests & Goals - items, outfits...a lock of lanzer's hair...
Barter Square - (art) Shops, buying/selling/auctions
The Void - misc things, chatterbox topics & amusement
Archives - outdated but important threads, misc storage etcetc
Im probabley missing something or over complicating it. It sucks you cant delete subforums...but I suppose it makes sense. Anyway! I volunteer to help with moving topics if ya'll need help with that.  How many of our daydreams will darken into nightmares...
The past couple days have probably been very confusing, organization wise. D: I know when I first got on here and saw it, I was like, "WTF?"
Well, Rivei came up with an awesome organization in my opinion, and Volly gave me permission to make an announcement and use Rivei's little masterpiece. ^^ -insert Volly's badge of approval here-
SO. The guild is going to get more confusing before it get's better. All I'm gonna ask is that members ignore the posts that don't belong there, and remake their threads, quests, ecetera. I know it's a hassle, but I think it would be more quick and easier if we did so. I don't think a group of people want to spend at least two or more hours moving threads. D; I know I wouldn't. (But if we decide to, I'll volunteer.)
So, comments? Like? Dislike? The guild might be kinda crazy for the next few days.

All I ask is that we keep the GDU. Slip it in somewhere. I really like the GDU and I'd like to keep it. >.<

Yeahh...There was an old stickies subforum. The stickies and announcements in that one can be moved to the new subforum. 3nodding

Wouldn't it just be easier to recreate topics in their correct forums?
All the older threads will be pushed back to page two, and the front page would be about the forum?
