A bug made its way across the cold earthy ground. Not really knowing it was being watched, let alone talked to. It was just simply minding it's own business, not a care in the world. Only wanting to eat and live. Then... Squish
"Stupid bug! I told you to bow! Now look what you did" said a rather young silver spotted ulaya. His ears had a bit of pink on it, and his eyes were a bright peridot color. He had a very strange look on his face. It wasn't exactly a smile, and wasn't exactly a frown. It was as if he was going to throw a tantrum and start crying.
"Now my day is ruined!" He said as he placed the back of the paw that had squished the bug to his for head, causing him to fall backwards dramatically. Life was horrible when things didn't listen to him. He was, after all, the best thing that lived! Didn't they know that? Didn't they understand the importance of his presence?

Armani watched her own paw with a cheerful thought of amusement. She was easily entertained and enjoyed the smallest things to humor her. Moving her tail with the breeze she looked up and glanced around the field before her. She noticed a silver shine just over a small hill but couldn't make out what it was. Ever more curious, Armani stood up and slowly walked towards the shimmering speck, squinting her eyes through the sunlight to get a better visual of the said object in question.
Closer and closer she got before it became apparent that it was another Ulaya strutting about. Instantly she got down and watched silently as the investigated the stranger. Realizing that he was more of her age then an adult she began to wonder where his parents were. She didn't want to approach anyone if she didn't know there wasn't trouble in the making. Flicking her tail in a playfully cautious manor she continued to study the young male for a few minutes.

Takumi finally realized the squished bug was still on his paw. Causing him to get up very fastly, or as fast as possibly with the paw in the air trying not to touch himself with it. Once up he looked around for a nice leaf, or some grass to wipe it off at. "Eww, Eww, Eww" He said to himself. How disgusting.
Finally he saw a nice long bit of tall grass. That'd work! He hopped over still not touching his paw to the ground. Once reaching to the place he saw out to get, he grabbed it and wiped his paw off. "Eww, Eww, Eww" He continued to say. Not realizing someone was watching. Though, he wouldn't mind if others watched. It meant to him that he was the most awesome thing alive.

Armani let out a little chuckle as she watched the clumsy Ulaya kit get all grossed out by the bug. Being the young child that she is, Armani forgot she was silently watching him and continued to laugh. Rolling on her back she looked up at the sky and giggled more loudly.

Takumi heard the laughing and quickly turned. "What are you laughing about!" He said rather asking her why she was even there in the first place. This was horrible, didn't she understand the grossness of a bug on his fur. It would destroy him if it stayed there too long.
"I'd like you to try to keep your ugly fur as clean as mine!" He said again almost in tears from the other laughing at him. He sat very fastly to his bottom as he looked at his paw again. It was gone, though there was still slight races that it was there... He'd make his mother clean it off. He wasn't going to lick that off.

Armani rolled over and looked at the stuck up Ulaya pup with shock in her eyes. She had never met another Ulaya as cruel and rude as this one and didn't want to be around him anymore. Her eyes began to fill with beads of tears and she tried to blink them try.
"Yeah?! Well you're just a big ... meanie!!" Armani stood up and ran in the other direction, letting the tears fly. She was a sensitive young Ulaya that was used to being babied and spoiled by her mother. This was her first encounter with another cub and she didn't like it at all, she wanted it to be her last visit with someone she had never met.
Running to a stop, Armani looked around with her mind racing. She forgot which way was home and began to worry that she was lost. Being a little kit in a little field makes it seem larger in comparison. Plopping her butt on the ground and began to pout.

Mean? Mean? She was the one that laughed at him! That made him a little angry, yet he also felt bad for making her cry. At first he just watched her run off, and then finally he decided he needed to apologize to her for being so mean. He wiped his eyes from the almost tears that had came out when she laughed at him. He'd never been laughed at before.
He made his way towards the way she had went as fast as his little legs could carry him. Why should he apologize? She made fun of him first! Soon he found her sitting on her butt. He rolled his eyes as he came closer. He'd never met someone who cried so easy. "I'm sorry, but you were the one that made fun of me." He said to her sitting a little ways away from her. He didn't look at her, but instead a rather strange looking strand of grass.

She didn't know what to think about him coming to apologize while still blamimg her for the situation and it actually made her quite confused. Turning her head she glanced over her shoulder at him with a solom tear in her eye and gave a half mouth smile.
"I laughed because you're silly." She shortly replied and turned around to face him, still sitting on the ground. "I've never seen anyone react like that when squishing a bug. Especially not a boy." She let out a chuckle with these words and continued to smile, the tear seeming to dissapear with her joy.

A boy? He wasn't a boy! Maybe he was so pretty they thought he was a boy. Yes... That had to be it. "I'm not a boy!" He said looking at the other with shock. Maybe she had met his stupid brother Thonas too! He's been telling everyone that he's a boy.

Armani watched him with more confusion on her face and shook it off. "But you are a boy." She stood up and slowly walked over to him, taking a seat next to his. She then leaned her shoulder into his and licked his cheek. "You're not a girl are you?" She tiled her head with curiosity and looked into his eyes. She was such a flirt and got it from her mother who practiced it well. Armani placed her paw on his and awaited for a response while continuing to look into his eyes.

At first he just looked her with shock as she said he wasn't a boy. Watched her sit buy him and then lick him. EWW! His beautiful fur! How could she do something like that? Then her paw touched his. Did she really believe she could touch him?
"EWWW!" He said as he pushed her paw off him and started rubbing his cheek. "My fur!" He shrieked. His beautiful fur, now drenched with this other's germs! He was continuing to rub his face with the back of his paw. "Do you go around licking everyone?"

Giggling again Armani stood up and looked at him with an amused look. "See, you must be a boy." She laughed to herself and then turned around to walk away once again. Looking for the direction where she had come from she remembered her way home and began down the road.
She enjoyed playing with him, even if he didn't like as much as she did. Flicking her tail as she walked, Armani began to hope that the other kit would begin to follow her. She really didn't want to leave but knew it was getting late and her mother would begin to worry.

He still wasn't convinced yet. "Well, then.. What makes me a boy?" he asked as he got up and started following her. He still wanted to clean his licked spot, but he also didn't want to allow the other to leave his sight with out a few questions answered.
Then he noticed how very strange she was compared to him. She had a strange tail, not like his brother and his two sisters. Plus she had some weird eye things.

Armani was quite amused with him, she had found herself a follower. "Because boys have cooties and never want to touch girls." She giggled again and looked at him over her shoulder with a smile. "Only a boy would jump from that, girls like cuddling." She stopped and turned around to completely face him before finishing her words. "So that makes you a boy."
Armani was just playing with him now, enjoying the fact that she didn't have to spend her time with any of her siblings or parents. She didn't want to go back but pondered the idea of taking him with her. She laughed at the though of what her parents would say if she brought home a strange little kit.

"That's a lie! I just don't want you to touch my fur. It's better then anyone else's" He said in simple reply. Of course he was a girl. She was just trying to make him admit he is a guy. His brother is close by some where.. He made a quick look around to make sure that wasn't true. But he could hide good.
