Hopefully no one has already made a thread like this, but I've been counting down the days to the release of Rune Factory on August 14th, yet there have been no announcements of promotional gifts that come with it! I was hoping someone might have some information on that, because that pretty much decides whether or not I preorder the game.
Also, if anyone has any information on other promotional gifts coming with future Harvest Moon games (or wants to brag about past ones they managed to snag) post away!
I think the last promotion was a sheep with Magical Melody, but I haven't heard much since, which is why I was wondering if I was the only one that hadn't heard anything.

Heh, I was actually wondering the same thing. I don't know if they got any promotional item with Rune Factory. If I knew they did I'd probably preorder it.
Magical Melody did come with a sheep though- I got it. Of course, I didn't preorder it. The nice people at gamestop gave it to me since they had an extra. I'm soooo lucky! xd

I've been looking everywhere, but no word so far. If I don't find out soon I'll run out of time to preorder the game, since I'll have to have it shipped to me if I want it right when it comes out. If it doesn't come with something, though, I'll probably just wait to get it for awhile.
Oh, you got a sheep? You're so lucky! I really wanted one but I forgot to preorder that one and missed it! That's why I'm trying so hard not to miss the next one. whee
