Ignacio's smile practically lit the gym all on its own. Clearly, he approved of this teacher. Bouncing a bit on his toes, he waved his hand in the air. "Do we have to go 'round it a certain way or do you just want us to go? Is it a race?"

On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, Delilah stood against the wall and looked as if she were doing her best to melt into the solid structure. While she made the little pink gym shorts and the brightly patterned t-shirt look good, it also appeared that she had never worn something like them in her life. She watched Shade, worried at what his answer might be.

Finally it was Riley's favorite class! Only problem was, her arm was busted. But to hell if she was going to let that slow her down. And come on...if the cast didn't protect her stupid arm, what was it good for anyway? "I'll bet I can beat you even with this!" Riley challenged with a grin, pointing at her arm with her free left hand and casting Iggy a look. Obviously she found the "go at your own pace" boring.

"Pfft." Ignacio laced his hands behind his head and rocked on his feet, smiling. "Just as long as you don't break the other one," he answered. "Your brothers'd kill me!" Seeing Riley get summoned by Shade, though, his smile faded. Uh oh. That couldn't be good.

Delilah brightened a bit at being addressed by Antony and she pushed away from the wall to pad slowly over to him. Shyly, she nodded. "But not fast, please."

"How's your arm?" he asked, eyeing the cast. "You know, if you trip and fall you've got a chance of making it break even worse, right? That's why I want you to go slow on your running, and if the arm hurts from being jostled you're going to sit this one out, got it?"

"I was planning on it," Antony said with a smile, slowing down even more so she could join him.

Ignacio appeared at her side and turned his own big, golden eyes upwards in a mirror image of pleading. "I'll keep right next to her, Coach Shade," he offered. "I won't let her fall."

Delilah adjusted her pace, speeding up a bit to meet Antony's slow-down. Her cheeks were already flushed a bit but, whether from exercise or something else, it was impossible to tell. She offered Antony a grateful, lop-sided smile. "Your father is... Big."

"Ahh, that's not fair! The teachers in all the other rooms still make me do everything else everyone does!" Riley complained very loudly, her cheeks turning an odd shade of red even with her skin tone. She was furious at this point. She was cooped up at home, still sent to school to work her butt off, and now this! It had been her last hope for anything fun.

"Muscular?" Antony offered. "I guess with that tail he seems bigger than most, as well," he admitted. Clearly he hadn't thought much on it. "Does he scare you?" he asked worriedly.

"See Antony?" Shade asked, pointing at his slow kid. "Just a little faster than him. If you're a quarter mile ahead of him, I'm going to put you on the side. Got it?"
