I lost a little rat yesterday Alanna was her name. (the dog next door killed her) It made me think about all my favorite pets that have died. Like why do I own pets that don't live very long? Then I look at the Rat I still have (her name is Riku and is the cutest) and know why I love them so much. They are smart, sweet, like to cuddle, want to be with me, and clean. I love watching her sit and clean herself, she even cleans me when she is playing with me.So, now to the whole point of the topic, why do you guys love you favorite pets?
ps. if you guys have pics or drawings of your pets post them I love pictures of critters. I am going to see if I can find my picture of Riku.

i heart cats. i've got a kitten who is extremly hyper and always wants to play but i love her anyway.

I had a turtle once. It's name was Koopa...It ran away. =[ Then I got another one named.......Squirtle I think.....and it died. Then I got a rat and it's name was Olallieberry. It died. Then recently my dog Sweetie who I had for like 10 years died. Now I have no pets =[
But I loved them alot, especially Sweetie. She was a cute hyper litle jack-russel terrier =]

i love cats hehe the house has 5 total 2 being mine. i also love Jack our pittbull. we have had pitts since i was a tot and they are the most intelligent and sweetest dogs ever. they act like cats ALOT lol. they have a bad rap cause stupid people raise them stare

i prefer dogs... you can take em in the car and go through drive thru somewhere and all the chicas working will come to the window to check him out lol on walks even, but more than that they are loyal and do more than just eat and sleep like cats

i would say i'm more of a dog person. i don't have any pets right now because i wouldn't have time to take care of it, but if i ever do get one, i would probably get a beagle because they are just so sweet! heart

I have a jack russell too, his name is Brandy.
He thinks he's the biggest dog. Thing is he doesn't get along with many dogs or kids. DX
He's a hyper son of a gun.

my kitten acts like a dog. she has to chew everything and she constantly chases her tail. i've never had a cat quite like her.
but then my step-sister's shih tzu is like a cat in a dog's body. he's so funny but he lives in london now so i never get to see him.

I had a cat named Daffy who was supposed to be called Taffy but then my aunt called her cat Taffy and I couldn't say Taffy cuz I was like, 1 when we got him, and he was later renamed Cinamon when we moved and gave him to my grandparents. He died. D=
Then I had a pet gerbil named Chris. He died of a nose bleed and/or suffocation, thanks to a certian brother of mine. >.<
Then I got Fluff face, er, Samuel, who I still have.
And 2 gineau pigs, but 1 died. >.>
And fish. Lots of em.

Yeah my family has a zoo. I personaly only own my rat but my family own 5 lizards, 4 water turtles, 1 box turtle, 1 rabbit, 2 dogs, and we made habitates for wild snakes in our back yard. Oh yeah we occationally have fish but usally they are to feed the water turtles, keeps them healthy since they have to catch their meal.
I love my zoo.
no cats saddly my mom is allergic, i love them though I play with my friends all the time.
