((I'm just going to assume they've met up a couple of other times between now and our last rp for whatever. XD If that's not cool, I'll edit it 'n stuff))
"Ig-gy!" The girl clapped her hands together excitedly and pointed to the door. Shiori nodded, running her hand over the table to make certain it was dust-free,
"Devon and Ignacio will be here in a little while, Kisala," she said softly.
"...gy?" The girl toddled over to the bookshelf and pulled off a few books before deciding to sit on the floor with one of them.
"Just don't pull out the pages," the woman said sharply, going over to put the books Kisala had pulled off the shelf back onto it.
Kisala didn't seem to notice. Instead, she turned a page in the book clumsily, folding it in the process, but attempting to straighten it out, at least.
There seemed to be no sign of what had been troubling Shiori enough to call Devon over, but the woman still kept an eye on the girl just in case. She was pretty sure Ignacio had never gone through what Kisala was, but Devon still might be able to offer suggestions. He was at least more familiar with Gaia than she was, and maybe it was something to do with that?

A faint knock sounded at the door. From the other side, a young voice said clearly, "We're here, Kisala!" The voice was immediately shushed, a low voice rumbling disapproval.

Kisala perked visibly and (as quickly as she could) toddled over to the door,
"Ig-gy!" she shrieked excitedly, pointing at the door with an imperious look that demanded-- since she couldn't reach it herself-- that Shiori open it immediately.
The woman had to smile as she picked up Kisala rather than let the door open into her, and turned the knob.
"De-von! Ig-gy!" Kisala about burst from Shiori's arm with excitement to see the two of them.

Ignacio had grown quite a bit since the last visit and he bounded into the room with a wave and an infectious grin. "Kisala!" He reached up to touch her hand, bouncing on the balls of his feet. "Know what I found on the way over? I found a red butterfly!"
"Uh, hey." Devon offered a lopsided smile to both the child and her mother. "Shiori, Kissy. Sorry we're late but, yeah, he had to chase a butterfly."

Kisala blinked at Ignacio, seeing him larger than she was (though he had been before, but now he was -much- larger), but then recovered quickly and stretched out her arms towards the two of them,
"Ig-gy! Dev-on!" she demanded. Someone, at least, ought to give her a hug or something. And then she and Iggy could go play with her toys.
Shiori laughed,
"I know that feeling. Anytime I let her down she gets distracted by shiny objects and I have to steer her back on track by sheer force of will. Or get the object and then steer her back on track."
She let the little girl down, unable to hold her as she squirmed, and Kisala squealed in delight, toddling over to Iggy first-- he was her favourite because he always played with her and everything-- and latched onto his arm,
"Ig-gy!"

Ignacio laughed and bent to cuddle the little girl. Then he straightened and ruffled her hair with one hand like Devon often did to him. "Hey, Kisala," he said. "Are you growing now, too?"
"I think he just has way too much energy or something." Devon shrugged easily. "I dunno where he gets it. If it's not butterflies, he wants to go to the park or hang out with Riley. At least he's good when I have to drag him to the shop." He half-smiled at the woman. "So what's up?"

Kisala giggled,
"I grow!" she was a bit bigger than she had been, that was for sure. But still a toddler, that's for sure. She snuggled against Ignacio as he cuddled her, and then reached to straighten her hair after he ruffled it.
"Well, he's puppy-like. That's probably where all that energy comes from."
Shiori bit her lip, one arm covering the other right about where the flower tattooed on her arm was,
"As far as what's up...Did you...well, have you noticed anything odd about Ignacio? I mean, other than the whole cabbage thing?"

"Well..." Devon half motioned to his child and shrugged. "See how big he is? That happened a couple weeks ago. Bam. Too big." He watched as Ignacio attempted to pick up Kisala, failed, and made do with following her to her toys. "I dunno. It's not normal for a kid but this is a cabbage so... I dunno," he repeated.
"Yeah, you grew," Ignacio agreed as he flopped to the floor and arranged his legs Indian-style. "It's cool. I bet you'll get to come to school with me soon." He paused and leaned in to whisper. "It's not really that fun but it's not as bad as I thought."

Kisala toddled over to her favourite little spaceship toy and started puttering about with it,
"Big like you?" she asked, tilting her head curiously. She wouldn't mind being big like Ignacio,
"School?" She wasn't sure what that was, but if her friend was there, she wouldn't mind going there too!
Shiori shook her head,
"It's not...well, she obviously hasn't grown like that, anyhow. But...well, we were in the bath the other day and she just started...glowing. This bluish-silver light emanated from her. It was...disconcerting."

Devon blinked. "She... Glowed?" He frowned and glanced over at the little girl. "I dunno what that's about," he admitted. "Ignacio's never done anything like that. He's all over and goes fast but I dunno if that's normal or not. He's never lit up or anything."
Ignacio leaned forward to study the spaceship thoughtfully. After a moment, he decided that it was cool and sat back, hands resting on his knees. "You might like school more," he admitted. "Some do. I think Manuela and Antony do."

Shiori sighed,
"I thought as much," she said, shrugging,
"But I had to ask. I'm pretty sure you would've mentioned it before if he had."
She looked towards the room the two children were playing in,
"When did Ignacio get so -big-?" she asked, smiling fondly at the little boy.
Kisala made the space-ship fly through the air,
"Manu-la? Ant-ny?" she asked. She was pretty sure she didn't know those two names. She pointed at the space-ship,
"Ship at school?"
If school didn't have space-ships, she was pretty sure she didn't want to go.

"Um." Ignacio studied the ship in her hands and gave it a moment's thought. Then he shrugged. "Maybe. I dunno," he admitted. "Maybe in the little kids' rooms. I didn't see any in math or health. I don't think Dr. Darnell believes in spaceships, anyway."
Devon followed Shiori's gaze and shrugged. "A couple of weeks ago. Just in time to boot him into school."
