((Went ahead with this pictures since it shows jewelry and stuffs XD)) -The day seemed like any other, early morning sun rising into the sky as the tiny princess silently demanded her morning bath be extended, primping and preparing herself in the obsessive way that she did each day. The only difference today was the place she was going, and the very large flower she'd been given to accent her many bangles, and as she lifted herself finally, giving a soft shake to puff out her young and vibrant pelt, she purred mildly.- "Thank you mama!"
-Waiting for her golden mother to stand, Sara quickly bounded to the edge of the rocks, glancing out curiously.- "We're going to play today then? When is he coming? Where will we meet him?" -Tongue sticking out in mild playfulness she bubbled excitedly,- "You're not going to hang around and babysit the whole time right?"
-Receiving answers that pleased her, the cub made her way between her mother's legs, rubbing her check against the massive forearms of her mother, before bounding forward once more towards the edge of the rocks, calling out in a singsong much too loud for such an early morning.- "Let's gooooo!"
-Leading the way down the rocks, she bounced from stone to stone with a daintiness she'd been perfecting since her first time down. A day just for playing with the boy she'd been told about for as long as she could remember.
Was she bothered by the words she heard, arranged marriage? Heck no. She couldn't wait to meet him. Her new friend that HAD to like her and be nice to her. What did he look like? Smell like? Excited thoughts bubbled through the young cub as she made her way towards the wateringhole in which the meeting was to take place.-

((I love that picture! <3))
Ever since his mother had told him the news, Nariko wasn't sure how to take it. He wasn't displeased with the news, but neither was his overjoyed. Deciding to not make any judgements on the idea, he decided to stay neutral for the moment. What he did not understand was that his brothers were jealous of him. What was there to be jealous about? He shook his head before returning to the task at hand. His mother told him that he was to meet the Princess at the watering hole today.
As he was walking there, he felt slightly nervous at the impending meeting. Or was he excited? He couldn't tell, al that mattered to him was that they got along. With a smile on his features, he spotted the watering hole up ahead.

-Kami followed her daughter mostly silent, her own stomach full of butterflies that her young one seemed oblivious to. Would her life have been different if she'd had an arranged marriage? Would she have been less shy, less lonely? Perhaps? But then she'd been lucky enough to meet a young rogue to take the place. Pulled from her thoughts as the watering hole came into sight, she spotted the familar pelt arriving from another direction. He was larger now for sure, but that bold black and white let her know for sure she'd found the one they were looking for. And it would be a lie to say she wasn't atleast partly thrilled by the aspect of him being big enough to take care of her daughter for the day.
Leaning downward, she nipped at Sarakivas haunches to stop her, before pointing out the bold figure.- "That's him darling. Nariko. You go and play nice and tonight you can tell me all about it alright?"
-Fretting for a moment, she finally turned, calling back once more.- "If you need anything, I'll try to hang about the den today."
-Eyes settling on the object of attention she nodded simply to her mother's words, half ignoring them as she bounded on tiny paws the rest of the way to the clearing. Flicking her tail gently, letting the little flower bound around it sway she called out in a singsong.- "Naaaariiiko."
-Grinning as widely as her cubby maw would allow she waited for him to notice her. Wasn't he in for a day of 'excitement'.-

Blinking at the sound of his name, Nariko wanted to cringe. It had a pleasant sound to it, that made him think of his sisters hunting him down. But, he couldn't be rude now or else his mother would scold him.
He turned to look at Sarakiva with a sheepish smile, "Hi Sarakiva!" He should make the best of this day if they were to be good friends later on in life!

-She continued her little bounding strides until she drew closer enough that she almost halted, turning a half circle around him in soft curiousity, before finally she grinned seemingly pleased.-
"Nice to meet ya!" -She chirped pleasantly, tail swaying back and forth softly as she looked up at the larger child. His colors were very bold, and his grin was funny, nice. He'd make a good friend, she was sure!-
"We get to play allllll day." -She stated matter of factly, before finally her eyes drifted out to the savannah.- "Hmmm.. but what do we want to play?"
"What games do you like?"

Green eyes watched Sarakiva as Nariko felt himself being examined. Pleased that she seemed happy enough with him, this would be the start of something good...or at least he hoped so. Following her gaze to the savannah, he thought for a bit. All day to play! "Well, sometimes I go to the watering hole to play with my siblings or we play hide and seek, or have a contest of some sort," He turned to look at her, "Whatever you want to play, Sarakiva."

-What you want to play? Well that was certainly promising! A grin seemingly wider then the cub's face settled upon her maw, and she thought for a moment. Wrestling around could be fun... But it was a little early to be messing up her pretty flowers. Hmmm.. what else.
They could play tag.. or hide and seek? Buuutttttt. She had just met him.. awfully soon to be playing games where she might lose him.
Speaking finally, she turned her back to the sun, looking out at the grasses as she made her decision.- "We should play patrol until we find some butterflies. And THEN. Then we can play chase the butterflies!" -Cub games really. But perhaps he'd be able to find a little joy in them.-

His tail flicked as Nariko's eyes widen, play with butterflies! This was sure something new to him. He tilted his head to the side as he questioned the princess, "How do you play patrol? I've never heard of that before."
His gaze looked from Sara to the surrounding area, so much land they could play with. He was getting excited as a smile start to grow from ear to ear, "Where do we start?"

"How do you play?" -She asked incredibly, having expected the elder cub to know more then her. But that was the end, she bounded out a few steps, explaining excitedly.- "Well it's like! You have to prowl and stalk around. And make sure no mean people or strange strangers are coming into the pridelands!"
"You know?" -She asked mildly, trying to fish out whether or not her explaination was good enough.- "You just have to see and smell and hear everything. And keep your eyes out like the scouts do."

He nodded his head, understanding what Sarakiva was telling him. Nariko thought it over and it sounded like fun, like a game who could find the most interesting thing first! A smile grew on his features as he crouched down, "Ok!"
He stalked a few paces forward before looking back at Sara, "Are we going to play as a team then?"

-She laughed as if he were silly to suggest what he did, but only until she thought about it for a moment. If one of them pretended to be an outsider.. that COULD be kind of fun. And then they'd certainly find something. But for now a team was good.
Mimicing his motionings, crouching down so that the two could no longer be seen in the grasses, she grinned, creeping forward.- "Yes a team! Keep your eyes out for something."
-Crawling through the grasses, she lifted her nose mildly trying to search out anything unfamilar, but so far all she could find was his own scent.-

He nodded his head to Sara, he would keep an eye out for anything unfamiliar! His tail flicked slightly as he knew Sara was very close to him since her scent was very strong. Up ahead, he spotted something. Something flying in the air not too far off of the ground. A smile crept on his features, he just found a butterfly...or at least he hoped that's what it was.
He stopped and looked back at Sarakiva, "I think I found something...up ahead above the grass. See it?" He tiltled his head, waiting for her reply.

-Her young ears perked as his whisper filtered back to her. Something to see? Creeping forward tentitivly, she half expected to see something dreadfully scary. A hyena, an outsider, something that a scout might actually find.
Her timid stance disapated immediately however as the fluttering creature touched her eyes.- "Butterfly!" -She proclaimed far louder than she should have, bolting forward in a prancing step to try and catch up with the illusive creature.
She nearly hummed with joy, jewelry clinking and clacking.- "You're good at this Nariko!"

Ears pricked forward as green eyes watched not only the butterfly fluttering through the air, but Sarakiva as well. Nariko smiled slowly as he watched her race foward towards the butterfly. He was glad to have found what they were looking for, it made him feel useful! Which was a good thing, because he wanted to do his best at everything!
He sped up a little to catch up with Sarakiva as he smiled brightly to her, "Thanks!"

-Sara wasn't the sort to actually try and catch the butterflies, even if she could. She wasn't really sure why either, but deep down it just seemed like one of those things, and because of that she'd been spared the sad reality of how fragile the creatures really were.
Bounding and following, batting lightly after the small fluttering bug, she grinned happily at her companion as he made it to her side once more. It hadn't even been very long, and already she felt so comfortable around Nariko. No intense need to try and impress him, or discomfort in wondering if he wasn't having any fun.
There was something in the notion that had been instilled in her that she was his and he was hers, that simply made it easy to play and have fun. And the fact that he hadn't voiced any displeasure yet far only helped to cement that notion.-
