Oh, MapleStory. You seize to amaze me with your bouts of denying my entrance into the game. ;______;

Before this long server check, I re-downloaded MS for the seventh time. I clicked to go onto the game, computer screws up. Black screen, freezes. Back to my desktop. Gonk, right? Defiantly. Several more tries. I search around to see if there's a work around or a solution. Apparently, I wasn't the only person who was having issues accessing the game.

Hopefully, this server check will fix that issue. D:

I do, too. I tried it after the server check and it still doesn't even reach the Nexon white screen. It's just black screen, freeze, back to my wallpaper. ;___;

Have you tried going to "My computer"? If not go to "My computer" Then double click the (C: ) File.
Look for Nexon, double click on that, do the same when you see Maplestory,
And when you see another MS with a mushroom besides it. Double click on that and you might be fine. Otherwise, you might want to redownload the Manual Patch.

Only thing I can think of is your Firewall, blocking the NEXON security thing >>;;;
Have you checked your fire walls blocked applications?

have you ever tried rebooting your comp then downloading maple again?

I can't play Maple at my grandparent's house because the internet connection is low but I've never had your problem.....weird
