Here I shall post journals of certain people, who write small stories in their journal-continuous or not.

To get me to add you to the list, just post a small sample from a certain entry in your journal and post a link to that very same journal. Or alternatively, if the person doesn't mind, you can suggest someone else's journal to be added here. You can also Pm me if you want, and I'll add it here.
Will be updated every other day, or daily if there's a jump in requests.

Eh-heh, quite empty isn't it. Ah well, in a horrible attempt to promote my own journal, I present you with the first entry in my Monologue series.

Made to be read like an outward monologue, I try to touch upon the deep feelings people find within themselves. Or habits, or whatever you'd like to call it, I don't do well with descriptions. This first one concentrates particularly on teenagers, I had written this maybe a year or two ago, and I recently found it [along with my other some poetry I had written aswell, xD]

So without further ado, an excerpt and a link:

Monologue-Written in Anger
I've locked myself in a cell-with no windows or bars, the floor is cold and hard. I know what I want-it's what we all want isn't it? Before we know anything, we want that.

Hah! Sorry it's so short! Didn't want to give away too much. sweatdrop

Wow, it is fairly good!
I'm one of those people who are hardly 'lonely'.
Though no one really knows my serious side.
Usually I'm happy and... exuberant.
My serious side is probably the 'person' the character directing the monologue wants to be.
I'm a take charge kind of person.
I admit I'm not always honest.
Who is ever always honest?
Lies are needed, though not the malignant ones...
I try to be fair...
And usually am.
People come to me with their problems (even if I don't always want to hear them... O.O;; )
I don't relate to your 'monologue man' a lot... parts of me do have walls up because people just don't need to know any of those things.
Most of the time I'm just me and don't care what others think of me.
If they have a problem it is their gripe and not mine.
(Though as I said before some parts are hidden... partly because I'm not ready for people to know that part of me).

Wow... I feel weird talking about myself.
I swear what I just wrote sounds stuck up...

My journal

So, I am typing up sections of a book that I am writing in its earlier stages. Eventually, I hope to get the book published, but that's a long way away. Anyway, the book has evolved some since these writings, and I will probably end up scrapping and rewriting half of the posts, because all of the mistakes and bad writing in them is starting to annoy me. Please tell me what you think. I love helpful critisism.

What about Andy and Johnston? Johnni had talked to Johnston before about the things he used to do when he was younger, and Johnni had found out that Johnston didn't live there forever, but had indeed moved in after he retired, but from what profession, he never said. Johnston had to know Andy. There was no other way to explain Johnston's behaviour. Andy had never been in the town before, so Johnston had to have known Andy before he lived here. This aged Andy many years beyond his looks, and put a connection between Johnston and Susie. If Johnston and Andy were such good friends, and Andy and Susie knew each other well enough for Susie to remember Andy, then there was a connection between Johnston and Susie much deeper than what he had made it seem. What did these three have in common? What was in their past that brought them together? What did Johnston know about Susie that he never said? What other secrets was Johnston hiding. What was so important about now that brought Andy back to find the two? Was this going to affect the town in any way? Was something major going to happen soon?

FYI, this was a sticky in the writers forum. You can still use it for posting your story-journals.
