Loir had been traveling all afternoon. He was getting close. Signs of a big animal were apparent. Claw markings and even the bears leavings were littered about the trail Loir now traveled. A great white bear would not be to hard to find. The young wolves step had a bit of bounce in it now just thinking of how he would impress Irons if he managed to kill the thing. His tail even wagged like a pups as he continued on his journey.
The forest floor turned more rocky and the foot of the mountain was now visible. He could not see the bear but knew it was close... or at least a bear of some sort if not the white one. It was time to take action and lore the thing out. Loir through back his head and let out a powerful howl. That would draw him out for sure.

The great white bear rose it's dead from it's meal, a fish that lay at it's feet from a nearby stream. It sniffed the air and moved towards the challenging call of the wolf. An invader in his territory. It would have to be dealt with and chased away... killed if nessesary.
That would have to do as a good punishment. The wolf had interupted his dinner. And let's face it, no one likes that. So that huge bear, almost double the size of any normal one in the area, stomped through the brush, leaving giagantic pawprints in his wake. A lone wolf. It would be easy enough to kill.

Oh crap was the first thing to come to mind when the bear had come into view. This was not going to be an easy task he would have to think it over before killing it. One thing was for sure was that the bear could easily kill Loir if he was given the chance. And that was not going to happen on Loir's watch.
"H-hey! Sorry to ruin you dinner but I have to kill you." He said bowing to the white bear before running up a tall boulder and flinging him self towards the huge monsters throat. Jaws out stretched ready to tear the thing to pieces. He would not run away from this battle even if he was clearly the under dog.

The bear merely snarled with annoyance, swiping it's huge claw out in front of itself, meant to slam Loir into the ground so that it's wieght could be used to crush the wolf. It was grumpy, and this time, the wolf would not get away, as Irons had years aho when he was only a teen wolf who espcaped his grasp.

The wolf was swatted down before he had a chance to even touch the throat . He knew it would not be easy and now the bear was crushing him beneath his paw. For a second Loir closed his eyes trying to think how to get out of the grip. He squirmed and tried his best. A yipe came from his throat as the pressure greatened on his side. He was in pain but was not going to give up. The wolf broke free. He was in pain from all the pressure the bear had just put him through and was sure to have a huge bruise when he woke up tomorrow, if he did. With great force the wolf lunged for the white bears under leg hopping to hurt him their so he would not be able to stand.

The bear shifted so that Loir only hit his side, barely even denting the bear's thick body, but it certainly enraged him. He had no interest in carrying a bruise from such a little wolf, in his upstart opinion. He growled and rounded Loir, swiping his claw upwards across the wolf's chest.

The wolf gracefully jumped out of harms way. He was amazed he had done so. Not a scratch but this was not time to gloat in one simple dodge.
He ran around til the bears back was in view. Aiming for the back of the neck now to try and dig his fangs into it. Weaken him maybe.

The bear screamed in pain as Loir attached himself onto his neck. He snarled and stood on his hind legs, backing up into a tree, so that if Loir didn't let go fast, he would be crushed... again.

Loir moved out of the way just in time. Blood dripping from his fangs as he gave a "Yeee haa!" Landing on his feet. This bear was smart and he should not under estimate its power. He kept his wits about him and went for its leg again hopping to bring the creature down once more when the last time he had failed.

The bear cried out again as Loir's teeth sank into it's leg. It then slammed down it's front paws, attempting to swat Loir away, even as the risk of having Loir's teeth rip away more skin than he already had.

Loir got swatted and even scratched some as he rolled to the side of the bear who was now in pain. The damage was minor though and only skin deep. It would heel back in no time.
Loir got to his feet and kicked up aiming for the bears throat this time the front. Hoping he could rip it open some. He knew doing this was a risk and he was ready to take it.

The bear, infuriated now, moved it's head down and opened it's jaws to try and catch Loir from underneith as he soared over the beast's head.

The wolf felt fangs digging into his skull. Before the bear could do any fatal damage though he broke free. He could feel blood gushing out from she skull. two piercings on either side shone deep and red. He was lucky that it did not pierce his brain. Though it would take some time to heal.
The wolf lunged again for the throat exstremely angry now.

The bear stepped back and swatted at him again, roaring loudly with every intend of crushing the wolf.
