Well, some people are about leaving a car stock, others are about personal flair. Some love creating a sleeper that will outrun a Corvette, while others love the exotics. What I'm saying is is what is your favorite type of car, why, and if you where to modify it in any way, what and why.

i like leaving the xterior some what stock, just add canards, or a bumper lip for downforce since my car is FF, lower it about 2 inches, a light weight hood and lightweight racing rims. basically all the money goes to the performance

I want a rear-wheel drive sleeper. Looks nothing new on the outside except subtle hints that this baby's got something in its belly. Engine is one of my primary concerns when I look at cars.

Generally I would like a coupe, they're sporty, loaded with gears, cheap enough to be practical, and their doors are long enough to do something unexpected should I ever get into a midlife crisis and make a Lambo door out of it.

An EF chassis Honda Civic is the ultimate car for me.

I'd modify it, if I had money.

FF, better accelleration as stock, great cornering capabilities. if tuned correctly, might be a corvette's worst nightmare. I have a 9th gen Corolla S, My brother has an EVOIX and the other has a 2005 JDM skyline. . .rich asses. so I'm growing in the tuner world =3, my JDM brother has a shop called Braketech, they make their own rotors and stuff

straight-six engine at the front, 5 speed manual gearbox, rear wheel drive w/ limited slip dif, the end.

the S30 Fairlady Z is the best car for me. but let's be honest, no S30 with the L28 engine today can keep up with the competition. I absolutely love the styling though, so what I'd want to do is swap the straight six out....for another, much beefier one. the RB30 from the Australian market. Add the DOHC head from the RB26 on that and a couple of turbos, and you end up with the RB30DETT.

my style is Long nose, short deck, and flared over-fenders. period.

I like older cars. So, I'm not reall sure which poll chose I would use. Vintage is what I'd say. Anything newer than about 1969 isn't something I really like, with the exception of the '71/2 Chevelle's...

Anyway, My favorite era spans from about 1934-1964. This three-decade era, to me, is one of the golden ages of auto-styling. The lines of these times, up until the '60s was smooth, elegant, streamlined, and beautiful. The shapes, maybe, didn't evoke the emotion of power, but, they evoked speed while standing still and an eye more for how it's going to look at the diner rather than down the track. Cars have never, to me, been as beautiful, sleek, or smooth as this time. Sure, the super cars and sports cars today are, but, those are high-priced cars. Back in the '40s and '50s many could afford a beautiful car. I like the '60s because it represents the beginnings in the american auto industry of a major shift. More aggressive and angular shapes were exploited. However, many of them still had some bit of the streamliner/ rocket age left to them.

If I were to modify these cars it would be in a traditional old-school custom style. Frenched headlights and taillights, lowering, caddy-sombero caps or buick caps. Nosed and decked, chopped top, sectioning, channelling, pinstriping, and other streamlining touches would all be considered. The great thing about these cars is that it, to me, is easier to set yourself apart from the crowd. Today, exterior modifications are generally limited to replacing bumpers, and maybe on a more worked on car, shaved handles, etc. But, in the time of the traditional customs everyone's cars had their own flavor because the work was from a stick of lead and some sheets of metal, not a carbon fiber mold.

And, I'm not saying that cars these days are ugly, I'm just biased towards the old cars.
