I don't know why all the Creationists went away, and have now come back. Possibly it is because Christmas is approaching. What arguments are people going to be using to debunk Creationism? I'm going to explain the meaning of evolution on the individual level. Be very careful about the words you use. There's no point in arguing against Creationism just because you don't like it. Argue against it because it's wrong, and show that you know exactly why.
Don't forget to use the useful links posted in this forum, and if you find any particularly useful websites, post them in that thread.

Ask them to explain the proof they have. 3nodding
If they come up with "0mg! T3h qu35t10n 15 stup1D!!!!111 T3h 818l3!!!!11111omg!!", ask them why they trust how the world came from to a book, but won't listen to arguments from any other thousands of books.

I might be intelligent, but I'm not always right. And anyay, I'm sure that you guys are all clever too. You don't have to take orders from me, but it sure as hell makes my life easier, so go ahead!
Here's some reminders. Mutation only occurs during reproduction. All individuals are genetically unique. Therefore, no actual change occurs. Thus, the term evolution is, strictly speaking, inaccurate.
Remember that the best proof of a scientific theory is that using that theory, technology can be applied based on it. Selective breeding is the application of the theory of evolution. That definitely does work. If people disagree, then this means that they don't understand evolution at all.

that's right. i'm kicking up the last thread in the forum.
a question for gigacannon: in the post before mine, you stated that mutations only occur during reproduction. did you mean only mutations that can be inherited? because mutations can occur during replication of dna. i'm accumulating mutations as i type, but most of them will be silent mutations. i just wanted to be cleared up on what you meant because i don't understand how your logic lead you to the conclusion "therefore, no actual changes occur." doesn't evolution include changes in allele frequency? allele frequencies have been known to change. there is the classic example of dark peppered moths that had an edge in camouflage over their light counterparts when the industrial revolution darkened light tree trunks. with better camouflage, more dark moths survived, mated, and passed on their genes for dark coloration. in turn, fewer light moths survived, mated, etc... this is evolution. animals don't have to sprout new limbs to evolve, but i guess it helps for people to visualize it a lot better. xd
