Labelled
Teenagers.
The proffessional labellers of the world.
They spend their days sitting around, labelling.
Jars. Isles. Movies. Books.
People.
They place jars in the storage. "Pickles".
They place names on the isles in grocery stores. "Dairy".
They are the most trained critics. "That movie sucks."
They are the most ruthless judges. "That book looks kind of lame."
They are the best hurt, when it comes to names. "Loner."
But who is the most accurate?
Do we really have a right to label?
Do we have all the facts before us to create the finished product?
Ever heard the saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words will never hurt me."?
Sometimes it takes just one word to cause the deepest hurt.
Sometimes labels are stuck to you, like a trick coin to a sidewalk.
So while those sticks and stones break your bones,
And you whisper a label or two.
Think about what the result might be,
And think about who's labelling you.

Questionable
If I say I love my friend, does that mean I'm in love with them?
If I say I hate that guy, does that mean I'm going to kill him?
If in a play, I act a guy and make my character gay
Does that mean that I swing for the other team?
What if I told a small white lie to save the person around me?
Would that mean I lie all the time and I should not be trustworthy?
I dress one way and speak another, does that mean I'm just confused?
Or if I don't cry for the loss of a person, does that make me heartless?
What if I tease some one out of good fun,
Does that mean I'm a bully?
Maybe all these examples are true and they give you the right to judge.
But really, who cares?
I know what I am.
I'm proud of who I am.
And although I may seem questionable, you can always rely on me to tell you the truth of who I am.
I am a young woman.
And I am not ashamed of what I have become.

Telling
They never say, "Can I have this, please?"
Only, "I need this now, to tease."
If I could only have one thing,
It would be this, so I could say.
Help them, along with the undead.
Tell them their time is near,
for to some of them this is unclear.
Tell them their style is 'jank'
for them, they can't wait.
To say, "I don't care."
Tell them I hate the fair.
Tell them that they should live life, if they dare.
With out them?
I dont care.
Can I have life, please?
No, fine, geez.
My style, jank?
I cant wait, for you to die on a different date.
Because, wait. What's at stake?
Life? Its just one thing you can have.
Not something to sell for a drag.
I cant tell you,
anything you want to know.
Because, I myself, dont know.
