That's my dream car, the ZZII - which was bought by Autobacs before it hit production, by the way. Like already discussed, it's a mid-engined (nearly perfect balance) supercar with AWD (one of the only mid-engined AWD cars) and the remarkable piece of technology that we've come to know as the RB26DETT, from the Skyline GT-R. Yeah, it's tuned to 550 horse, which is impressive. But, as long as you've got an RB or 2JZ motor, your horizons are nearly unlimited...

Just as a point of interest, This is the GT300 Racing version of the ASL Garaiya, which was ultimately the TommyKaira ZZ's replacement.

Fairly Z Is it still powered by the RB26? It's a VQ35DE, sadly. But the Garaiya originally had a non-turbo SR20, so I suppose the VQ is a better option for racing.

Well, being that I have a VQ35DE, I won't say anything against it. But, having an RB26 isn't something I can imagine complaining about. Anyways, you're right about the MR-S. I had a '95 MR2 in my shop the other day; it was beat up, but the design is timeless. Those things in turbo trim are awesome. The new ones... Yeah, they're aerodynamic, but they've got NO POWER! It went from innovative mid-rear turbo sports car to the nemesis the Miata doesn't know it has.
