Pain is the leader now Tobi could be Obito or Madara or just someone different. Obito was crushed by rocks but could have been saved before he died. Pain has a partner who's the girl in the blue hair so yeah it is possible that some sources lie about who the leader is but at the time being it looks like Pain is the leader. So for right now we can assume Tobi is Obito or Tobi is the leader or Pain is the leader but we won't know until later so you just have to wait and see. I personally think Tobi is Obito and he was saved by one of the Akatsuki members so he tried to become part of the Akatsuki but I'm not positive. So we can just guess for the time being.

Um...the blue haired chick is the unknown member lol (I know that doesn't explain much but I don't think anyone really knows)

I also think Tobi is Obito because of the whole single eye whole, and it just happens to be the right one. Which was the one that was crushed by that huge rock. Kakashi only has the left one...so I'm not sure but that's what I think lol

acually i have a theory on why he only shows one eye... kakashi has to hide his sharigan eye because its constantly on... so mabey tobi is doing the same, mabey he's got the sharigan so powerfull that its just on all the time or better its stuck in magenko mode or what ever its called, using that to much though would cause bad eyesight so he hides one eye so that he not always using chakra that he doesnt need!
