Socrates worked hard to prove the oracle wrong. He discovered that all he knew was that he knew nothing. Him trying to disprove the oracle's words about the wisest man goes to prove this. For even socrates didn't know who he was. And neither do I. I know nothing. I know not anything nor myself.

The scary part about driving in the snow is not the snow on the ground. The scary part about driving in the snow is in the dark, when the snow is falling in your headlights and the hypnotizing affect that the snowflakes have on you.
Find the metaphor in that if you wish.

The general population is dumb & follows trends like a herd of cattle. But it's better to be the dumb cow leading the herd to the next patch of alfalfa then to be the last cow who arrives late and has to scavenge for tidbits.

A company starts off as a labor of love by one person, or a small group of people. But after the company reaches a certain size, it takes on a life of it's own, and much like an artificial intelligence robot gone haywire, the company turns against the customers & employees it was originally created to serve.

I worry about others to the point of sickness. When people close to me hide things and keep secrets, it practically kills me.
Damn I'm having a bad day. I need a green monster and somewhere to go.

People ill seem to say they are either dieing, or wish they were. sweatdrop ... Plus, for everyone but yourself (and perhaps another) to not catch the flu is both a reason to be happy... and to be sorry for those that did.

Catching the flu affects not only your body, but your mind and attitude as well. A really bad flu is much like LSD or a revelation, it can cause you to seriously change your opinions on some things. As does any life threatening challenge, no matter how minor.

When a person dies, it is hard to realize that there gone. They Are gone, never coming back. They will never talk again, never move, never hear see taste smell or think. They are gone. When you burn a persons body, it turns to dust. It is the same with their brain, which was once the main organ in the body tha gives human beings and other creatures of the world the ability to think and be individuals.
If you can control your thoughts, you can control how your affected by change and experiance life the way you want to, and therefore achieve the goals you want to. But you can't control everything about yourself. Its hard to tell yourself something isn't a big deal when in actuallity it is.
If I did not have my senses I would never change, never learn, and never become any different than a plastic doll. Progress is pain. Therefore, progress is not progress until it is painful.
