That she hasn't been online lately.
I went to Prince George! And didn't really have time.
I went with my Roommate Christy - because her boytoy boyfriend lives four hours away, and she refused to allow an entire month go by before the next time she sees him (we will be seeing him at Clinton).
I saw an Alpha battle, and the after-math of hot guys taking off their armour and shirts because of how hot it was! eek heart
It was like 'excuse me while I pop my eyes back into my head' rofl
An Alpha batte is when the WolfPack (<-- a group in the SCA [not actually recognized by the SCA though] based around heavy fighting) chooses a new Pack Leader.
The one who wins, then chooses his 'Alpha b***h', and they rule the pack for ~insert amount of time~. Until the next Alpha battle.
Christy's boyfrend got the snot beaten out of him! xd heart But to be fair, he also won quite a few battles.
Really fun to watch. And it was SCORTCHING hot, so of course as soon as it was all over, we got to see the men (and in some cases help the men) take off thier armour, and proceed to take off as much clothing as they can get away with - while remaining decent in a park.

And then we went to the big potluck feast thing at the new Alfpha male & Alpha b***h's home.
Ooh, ooh! My favourite part of the Alpha battle - was at the end, when the ex-alpha male read out the winner.
So the Alpha male, and his Alpha b***h stand up - and she's holding their new baby (only a few months old)
And the ex-alpha looks to all the WoldPack members and says
"Members of the WolfPack - this baby outranks you" rofl heart
But yeah, so at the feast there was a huge thunderstorm, and there was a lot of fun stuff - one of the members is a profesional magician ... a hot one I might add - with AWESOME garb.
Poofy white shirt, fitted leather pants, and a long pirate-esk jacket. whee
But yeah, he's an amazing magician!!! eek Especially when it comes to cards 3nodding
Sooooooo... then the other days there was some shopping, and some flirting, and some other stuffs. Nothing else majorly interesting though.
Although - everytime Narfie (a wolfpack member, who is Christy [my roommate]'s boyfriend's roommate - so Patrick (the boytoy), Danielle, and Narfie live in the same apartment. And that's where we stayed while we were in town) Anyways, everytime Narfie had to give me a ride (we had two vehicals, and for some reason Me & him kept ending up driving whereever together) we were late. And i don't mean just a little late. I mean a lot late.
Like at the WolfPack feast, we stayed there, talking with the Alpha male & female until 2:30am. While everyone else in the apartment left at like ... midnight at the latest. (I was washing dishes, I didn't want to leave them all for the Alpha b***h to do, and when I was done - we just kept talking).
And then we were driving home from the Alpha fight I was helping some of the kind lords with loading up their armour - so Narfie and I were near last to leave. Then on top of that he got a call and had to head out to the airport ASAP.
So yeah ... and we ended up getting a lot of strange looks.... sweatdrop
So yeah ... it was funny! 3nodding

in the SCA they try to recreate the good parts of medieval times - without the bloodshed. Soooo, if you want to heavy-fight (Big sticks and shileds wailing away at each other), They you make or buy amour - that has to be approved before you can fight in it, you have to have a fighter's card - etc.etc.etc. But yes. I'll post a picture of Fields of Gold (I was the court Photographer, so I have almost 500 pictures from the event). (Sorry but the pictures are going to be big).  This is Tuathal (on the left) and Alasdair (on the right).  This would be Alasdair dieing (although he only died once, and actually won. 3 kills vs. 1 kill, so this was his only death) In the background you'll see two other people with sticks. That would be lord Markus and Lady Sibán (keep in mind how names are spelt, and how names are pronounce are completely different things! rofl ) They are marshals. Help to keep the order, and keep people from being hurt. But are not quite the same as referee's. Referee's decide who's win it is. Marshals are JUST there for safety. It's all honour-bound who takes a hit and what not. Because depending on how your hot falls, it may or may not count. Aaaaanyways. You also have rapier (don't ever call it fencing, you'll have so many rapier fighters after you whee not pretty.) Which same sort of rules - though .... I don't THINK there are marshals ... at least not with giant sticks! 3nodding Here's a picture of everyone at Fields of Gold  I'm down in front - next to the dog, sitting kinda weird (was TRYING not to get my skirt dirty - and yes, oh my god, Naito wore a skirt! :O ) Wearing the black corset & brown over-skirt. 3nodding heart

Nah, you looked like you were sitting all ladylike and elegant! I didn't recognize you at first, but you were the first person my eyes fell on.
And that's so cool that they fight and stuff!

You're eyes fell on me first - because I'm dead-freaking-center! rofl
I and the girl, front row third from the left (not including the dog that is) with the long brown hair - were having an argument.
You see ... I'm court photographer ... but she hates being in photos and was wanting to take photos with her own camera.
Well, you see, we ended up arguing while everyone else was gathering into the photo - and there were three or so people who'd come to visit, but weren't in garb - and didn't want to be in the photo.
So finally Lady Betha - second row from the front, fourth person or so in - fairly short, wearing the white and purple,
Well she finally decided that we were both going to be in the photo, and were told to hand over our cameras! emo
What is a court photographer without her camera? emo

hehe, nah - she has her reasons. It was really funny since Mama-Betha is actually her mom (she's a very motherly woman, so most call her 'mom' or 'mama-betha' But since I also call Lady Rhiannon 'mom', I usually call her 'mama-betha') rofl

Well I'll say it again, it looks like you had quite a bit of fun. And although the moniker certainly applies, is it really proper to refer to the Alpha's partner as such?

Yes! xd That is her title. Actually the last Alpha b***h (a friend, the one in the cloak next to Liam in the group photo) they managed to find these magnets in a store, not custom made!! That said 'Alpha b***h' on them! rofl it was great. But my favourite part about the whole Alpha battle, was still when the announced the Alpha male & Alpha b***h, and as the Alpha b***h was holding her Newborn Baby (well ... couple months old, but fairly new-born-ish) And the ex-alpha stands up and bellows over the crowd "And noobies, this baby outranks you!" But then again there are some pet dogs that outrank the noobies in the WolfPack. xd
