atrixa Does anyone miss the good old days when it was just Billie and Christopher? *sighs* No. Well, fine, a bit. I prefer Martha over Rose but prefer Eccleston over Tennant.

I agree with stresshog. Martha is a way better companion than Rose... i mean its Billy Piper i mean come on... and Eccleston is better then Tennant in some ways, while Tennant is better in other ways.

OK, time for me to put my 2p in.
I wasn't really that fussed about Ms Tate in the Christmas Special on first, second, third or fourth viewing, but having watched it about 25 times now on video, DVD and BBC 3, I am starting, very slowly to warm to her.
I always give new regulars to shows three episodes to impress me. Chris Eccleston took one. Billie Piper took all three. John Barrowman took one and a half. David Tennant took about three quarters of one. Freema Agyeman took two. Catherine Tate has had one of hers, and hasn't quite managed it yet. I'm sure she will improve and the character will just change enough to not irritate me, but I have to give her the benefit of the doubt for now.

I just prefer Donna to Martha. But Rose is best.
