"Ah, that makes sense," Elnara nodded. "The library is after all for getting books, not ... well." She laughed.
"I got it, Mama," Serenity said proudly as the portal swung open to admit them. "Come on! Let's go home!" She stepped into the portal and disappeared.
"Yeah!" Celebor cheered. "Let's go!" He sent Skye and the twins through ahead of him, then disappeared into the portal as well.

Lore laughed, "Unless you are Yuki and Tristan I don't think so," he chuckled deeply as he tugged her close, "Let's go."
The last part came out low as he looked at her with loving eyes. Afterall, he probably still had the rest of the day left to spend time with them.

Elnara slipped her free arm around Lore's side and pressed her cheek against his shoulder, hugging him tightly. Well, if it ever seemed that they didn't have enough time in Gaia to spend together just doing nothing, she knew what she was going to suggest.
And with the time difference, they wouldn't necessarily have to take the kids, even if they wanted a few days or something ...
With that thought in mind, she laughed again and disappeared into the portal.

They were the last to step in naturally to make sure none of the children left behind. It was a pity to have to go, but he was sure the interesting times would not stop quite yet.
