My parents said they were going to get a divorce, because my father cheated on my mother. It was like the third time they said they were going to get a divorce.... and they're didn't. Again. They're still together. I almost wish they weren't, because I just know my mom is always suspicious of him.

I think she means that the romantic feelings are diminishing, and that they now feel more like friends than a couple.

Divorces can get pretty nasty, but this one sounds like it won't be too bad. It can't be helped when two people just don't feel the romance anymore. Since they're friends, you'll be able to see both of them and not worry about conflicts. I hope things go well for you guys. heart

My parents got divorced the summer I turned 12, because my mom just didn't love him anymore. It was awful... My father sunk into depression (which he had been battling for years). He tried to alienate me towards my mother and treated me like his personal counselor, coming to me and unloading all of his problems. Things were just really messy... To make matters worse, I was getting crap from kids at school because I chose to wore more black than the average kid there. Just stuff like satanist, devil-worshipper, Harry Potter's girlfriend... So yeah. Life pretty much sucked. I ended up living with my mother and sister, and have had very, very little contact with my father. He just wants to make things hard for mom, which also makes them hard for me.

I hope everything is well though!

I'm kinda forunate my parents split when I was like 6 months?
But my siblings had to go through two of my mom's divorces
Both of which were messy

My parents are divorced.
And I lived with my mama.
Then Mama got re-married.
Then she divorced that dude.
Now I live with both parents.

If you need someone to comfort you'll, I'll be there<3. You're handling the divorce extremely well. If My parents got divorced, I would be crying like hell sad .
