Q: Does the gender of our character have to match that of our avatar?
A: No, some people RP better as a different gender.
Q: Can we RP Yoai?
A: Yes, as long as it remains tasteful, and there is no inappropriate behavior is allowed.
Q: Can I be a teacher, or other adult?
A: Ouran is more about the students than other adults. So I’d rather keep it to the students.
Q: Why can't I be a character from the anime/manga?
A: It doesn't take as much creativity to be one of the characters. It can also spoil things for other users who haven't reached that point.
Q: Why does the Host Club get their own sub-forum while the rest of the clubs share one?
A: I am anticipating that the Host club will be the largest of the clubs. As other clubs get larger then I will give them their own sub-forum. This way I can save some money.
Q: Can I have more than one character?
A: Originally I was going to only allow three max... but to be fully honest I want more than that. But also because of the way things have progressed I'm going to allow each person to have more characters. However if things get to the point where people are interacting more with themselves than the other characters I will change things back.
If there is any other questions please post them here and I will answer them as soon as I can.

Because of the way things have progressed through the storyline, no. If you would like to be in more than one area at a time, feel free to make another character. But I would like to keep everything more linear. So that we are able to follow the development of the characters.

There are two things I can think of for you right now.
One, you wrote that your character is a bookworm and there is already stuff going on in the library...you can post there inserting yourself into the situation
Two, you can make a post somewhere and someone will make a post to respond to you.
The most important thing is to have fun
