Yeah. I guess the new trilogy could work, if you left out Jar-Jar, the virgin conception, midichlorians and the robots (who serve no purpose at all except being there). And I admit that the other media created for it (video games, comics and novels) are just as good as any other EU stuff.
But... Umm... You've read the plans for what the next movies are going to be about, right?

You know what? It was probably fake. But they had the whole script for three movies... And characters... And it fit what was known, that they are to be about Han's kids and Luke's kids...
