Hairy Priest
Well, you could always just be the Mafia mod, since it seems like no one has played it before (or won't admit to it, anyway). It seems like fun, actually. I'd almost be tempted to join in, but I'm not sure I can be on the computer regularly these days.

An Animaniacs threat would be great fun. It had one of the most bizarrely disturbing scenes I have ever seen in a cartoon... a movie critic (obviously based on Roger Ebert) eating popcorn with flavored with 'butter' liposuctioned from his own body fat... gonk

xd One of my favorites is the original 'Barney' spoof in a school. The other one has to be a tie between the various Shakespeare interpretations, helping out with the Sistine Chapel ceiling, and the incredibly accurate spoof on the 2001: A Space Odyssey movie. xd xd

Aha, sure. I'll set at least some of it up toni...Doctor Who is on tonight! What am I saying?!?!?!?!?!? eek xp
Tomorrow, then. Spending a day out with my mom today. rofl

Very much on a side note, but I got no sleep last night.. literally.. >.<
As long as I make it through and don't pass out five minutes before Doctor Who....gaack! whee whee whee

Actually, having looked through the rules, I wouldn't mind being mod for the Mafia game - but I might get things wrong so it would be better for an experienced player to mod.

Also I gather that you need a reasonably large group of dedicated players, which is kinda hard to gather together on the Guild at the moment.

Oh, yeah, I've watched a lot of TZ episodes! Sci Fi is always running it (chopped to heck, but running it). I like the episode with Buster Keaton as a time-traveller...because I like Buster Keaton so much! xd
Don't like the new TZ or AS. Did get way creeped out on that more horror-oriented TZ-like series Rod Serling did in the early '70's, though--Night Gallery. I was a kid & the one about the paintings that kept changing & showing a dead body coming out of it's grave & walking up to the house scared the daylights out of me. It was "Blink"-style terror--every time the man looked at the painting again it had changed to show the corpse closer & closer 'til it was on the front porch...and something started POUNDING on the door.... gonk

Oh, yeah! Animaniacs rocks! xd You do know that they HAVE to be companions of the Doctor, don't you? I mean, how else do they get around all up & down history?
QUESTIONS: Which Doctor are they travelling with? And what is it like in the TARDIS? lol

Oooooh.. I'll have to find some of Night Gallery.
And now I REALLY can't wait for Blink!!!! I'm only now on Shakespeare Code.. *sigh*

Haha, that one sounds really frightening!
And I hadn't thought about that!! Maybe we can get some of our artists in the guild to draw them with one of the Doctor incarnations...hmm... *starts thinking fanfic*

I think they'd travel with Four, probably. Or Ten. Can't see them with Nine 'cause he's too forlorn...well the perfect one would probably be Eight, for some reason..it was an American movie, so they could have just hopped on for a while.... Hello Nurse!!! rofl

True, true. mrgreen

And they had to have met 'Baloney' at least once..surely even the Doctor would run from such a monster!

My favourite was Will the Real Aliens Please Stand Up. In it, police track something that came from a UFO to a diner. In it, they find a busload of people who stopped for a bite. the Driver says that he remembers there being 10 people and the diner currently has him, the policemen, the diner owner and eleven other people in it. All the passengers starts accusing others of having not been on the bus. Couples that have traveled together start accusing eachother of having new moles and the like. I thought that I saw the alien and I was sort of right.

I got my season 1 DVDs at last. I've watched the first 5 or 6 episodes and I have to say they're pretty awesome. Nothing like Outer Limits (they're both SF anthology shows but I'd say Twilight Zone is more like fantasy/fairy tale stories with twists and genie/god/devil-like-characters and a moral ending where as Outer Limits is straight-forward alien invasion-esque/meddling with science stories with a sort of hidden message about human nature slipped in behind) but I still like the Twilight Zone. I still like them both.

My favourite so far - not because it's been a better story than the others but just cos it made me laugh seeing Martin Landau's evil cowboy routine - was Mr Denton On Doomsday. I can't figure out the Doomsday-ness of it but the twist was very well done. And it was a happy ending, the two I watched this morning were terribly cruel...
