CrossFire43 Triple Homicide I was used to Nextel Cup, but this is just jerking us around. I don't know who on earth had a hand in deciding this but maybe they should have a good long look at what they're doing. By this time next year, 3 of my shirts with the Nextel Cup logo on them will be out of date. Nextel merged with sprint.

ok so nextel can change to sprint because of a murger but cingular can't change to at&t when the same thing happened. its just stupid

Um, you're sorta right. Nascar's top division, what is the Nextel Cup today, started out being called the Grand National series, and was called that until 1971 when It became the Winston Cup. Nascar's second division, today's Busch series, was formed in 1982 from the late Model sportsman series, which was 'formed' in 1968 from the Sportsman series which dated back to 1950. It's very confusing. My head hurts trying to get it all straight right now, probably because I'm tired.
