Discription:
Human: Rydel has ginger hair cut at shoulder length. Her eyes are of the purest emerald. A bone white scar runs from her left color bone to her right hip. A rune is tattooed into the back of her left hand, which shines faintly blue at times. A sword rests on her hip and she has several daggers hidden on her person.
Dragon: Rydel is a Crimson Draconic, so her scales are blood red. There are over a thousand white scars on the underside of her crimson leather wings. Her eyes are orange and blaze like twin fires. Her talons shine black like the darkest obsidian.
Brief Back Ground:
Rydel is a Crimson Draconic, Half Dragon and Half Human. Modern day Draconics are the result of the workings of powerful magic eons ago. The Dragons saw that the human race needed their help getting started, so they imbued a few worthy humans with thier own powers. Their new powers enabled them to switch from human to a dragon of their "host" dragon. "Host" means that the share similar powers and abilites of the original Dragon who imbued the power, even if the Dragon is long dead, their power will live on through the generations of Draconics. The new Draconics also gained the magical abilites of the ancient Dragons. Before the Dragons went into deep hiding they sent the now powerful race of Draconics to protect the future generations of humans.
Rydel had grown up on on a farm in the country side until her parents and mentor were killed in a catasrophy involving an earthquake. She later found out that her brother, Astor, killed them, exacting his revenge on them for forgeting him. After the event, Rydel, only age seven (human years), traveled to the nearest town and took up theving to survive. She met and befrended another theaf, Rema, which became her sister in arms. At the age of fourteen a mentor found her and introduced her to her true race, the Draconics. She helped lead a campaign against the Elves in her homeland with others of her race, but she soon fled after the Twin Wars. The High Dragon Council had sent hunters after her to assassinate her. They feared the power that laid within was too great and would eventualy break free of its bonds, like her brother's had. But she held a greater power than Astor had, she holds three souls within her body. The Dragon soul, the human Soul, and her first mentor's soul. Her Mentor's soul is caged and chained with powerful magic inside of her, if it is released, then only the gods know what destruction it would cause.
She had wandered several lands for years, looking for a place to stay, until a rune tattooed man stoped her on the road. Angers flared and a battle ensued. They both collapsed, exausted on the side of the road. They formed a bond and traveled together for years. He took her left wrist, one day, and seared a single rune into the back of her hand. It flared once, and died. To this day she doesn't know the meaning or the name of the rune.
Weapons:
Several daggers (16) with serrated edges, and a sword with golden filligree in the hilt, and her magic.
Her magic lies heavily in the Fire arts, but she also has great knowlege of the healing arts and other destructive spells. She is also a very powerful mindcaster. This enables her to enter anyones mind, although she usually backs off once they put up their mind defences or she senses they're distresed and should not be interupted.
