Dude, I didn't get my first GF 'til is was 18. There's no shame in it. as a matter of fact your should focus more about seting your life in order first before seeking love.
As for the girl you were talking about, forget her. There are plenty better people out there. And when you are happy with your life and love, you can look at her with deadbeat of a man and laugh.

I got kissed once when I was sixteen, and then nothing until I was nineteen.
I'm not sure I'm unhappy with that either, I didn't do anything too stupid in highschool because of it, no bad reputation (well, not due to sexual activity anyway) No silly teenage mistakes that hurt my fragile self esteem further.

I'm only 12, I've never had a boyfriend, and I don't want one. I don't want to get married either. I'm gonna live my own life. I don't need anyone's help.
