Valefor grinned. "True. We've all got legs, using them can't hurt." Though the idea of Rikku getting one of the vehicles to work was rather intriguing in and of itself.
Her house here... ah yes. "You know... I asked Trel if there was any way we could get a door at the Place. I just had to try this first... you know? But I wonder... if I could manage to link to our door to this recreation. It might be nice if it would work."
She thought she saw the others up ahead so she called down the passage again. "Trelweny? Rikku?"

"Don't know, luv. Ne'er been another door like ours so there's no telling. Worth a shot though." There was a light in his russet eyes. The sailor could think of a few very pleasant things if both Valefor & himself could reach this place from their own homes. Ach! Stop thinking that way about her! Ye can't keep it up, nay if she's to be finding a lad to give her the kits an' family she wants an' deserves! Aear shook his thoughts free as a cheerful bark followed by a happy "Booya! They're back!" could be heard as the three females turned. Both two legged and four legged Rikkus rushed towards the aeon, followed more casually by Trelweny who though while nearly equally excited appeared muted in comparison to the Al Bhed.
"Oh my gosh! It's so cool to see the whole thing! I mean we've played in the stadium before, but we miss all this stuff around it 'cause we go straight to the hallway between the locker rooms!" The audio gushed excitedly, her Voronwe self nodding excitedly in agreement.
"You changed back!" The woman exclaimed in surprise.

Valefor laughed, obviously feeling far more lighthearted than she had when she'd arrived. "Well, I'm glad you like it. You know, honestly, I was wondering earlier if I could put people in here to run things so you all could see how Zanarkand is really supposed to be... but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea even if I could manage it..." She trailed off and shrugged. "But... I'm thinking aloud."
Then she looked up at Trel, a grin in her eyes behind her mask. "Yes... I'm not sure how I changed or even how I changed myself back... or if I could manage it again. But here I am." She poked at Audio Rikku. "You two might have to see if you can get one of the vehicles to work to get us back to the door. Unless you three feel like walking?"

"I don't know about the girls, but I wouldn't mind the walk. High Ones know I could use it..." Trelweny chuckled As the audio made a face and Aear made soft protestations that she was perfect and lovely as she was. The human widow sent the Ladies' kitsu a look that said though his opinion was sweet, she knew better that there was no unatractive female in his eyes. However it was followede by a glazed look, then a blink before Trelweny regarded him thoughtfully once more with her gaze now flicking to Valefore as well.
Then she blushed profusely. "On the other hand..." Avirting her face Trel put an arm around Rikku's shoulders. "I should get back to Theron. And the others of course. Think you can fix something up?"
The Voronwe barked her opinion as the audio Rikku laughed. "I've yet to find a machina yet to get the better of me for long! Come on!"

Valefor blushed slightly herself when she realized what Trel must have been picking up on. Well... not much she could do about it. She turned instead back toward the entrance at a brisk walk with the Rikkus behind her to go find a vehicle that could comfortably seat them all.
It didn't take too long and Valefor gestured for them to do their thing. "I think basically it just needs the circuit the key activates overridded or whatever it is they do... I used the public transit system so I don't know a lot about them, I'm afraid."

The empath was probably picking up on that and more, for her eyes flicked to the male angelic a few more times, curious & worried but sadly happy too.
Rikku exclaimed happily over the vehicle. Both of them did. It was in such good condition... not like the machina she used to help her people dreg up from the ocean or desert. It did not take the m long at all to get it started, though they spoke very fast to each other in Al Bhed -sometimes arguing as they worked. Then they smiled, as they turned it on & had the engine purring like a kitten. "Hop in!" Trel was not far behind the Rikkus' example but Aear hung back, bowing for Valefor to proceed him inside, russet eyes twinkling.

Valefor nuzzled Aear briefly and hopped into the vehicle. She quickly got herself settled and once they'd decided who was driving and had everyone else settled she started giving directions.
The drive back in the hover vehicle wasn't quite as fast as the flight over had been, but it was certainly a lot faster than walking. Once back and into the yard, however, she paused and went to sit under the tree. "I think I'd like to sit here for a little while. We can discuss making us a door after that..." She lay down then, head between her paws, and even if you couldn't see it under the mask even a non-empath could probably feel her smile. Just a few moments to commune with the feeling of home on her own... that was all she needed.
