Yep, unlike the other systems, Wii can play every game from its last system. PS3 can't even play old Guitar Hero games.
That's not exactly correct. The PS3 CAN play the older PS1 and PS2 games just fine, it's actually the peripherals, like the controller, which doesn't work correctly. Same goes with DDR mats. The games themselves run but without the 3rd party controller function, it's kind of pointless.
Personally, I found the Wii incredibly fun at first, and then a bit of a drag. It's a great party machine, and the price makes it affordable as such. However, I didn't find playing solo on it all that exciting at all, and the games themselves rely more on the uniqueness of the controller to carry them through, rather than innovate in-game mechanics.
