Aside from the prime-time special airing in Japan, that's it.

Well, I suppose they could expand on the fact that Near has a Death Note now. And that there's bound to be another Kira sometime in the future(Near going KIRA would kill me, though). >_>; But I'm happy it's over.

Wait, didn't Near burn the Death Note?
Even so, I'd lol if they tried to make another series out of this concept; because it'd never be as good as the first.

Well, You dont know that. if there is a sequal Near would most likely be kira.

In Vol. 12, Matsuda states that Near burned the Death Note as soon as he found out about the second fake rule. I heard that there's supposed to be four DN live-action movies and since "L" is the third....

I really hope that they put DeathNote on adult swim because I didn't see all of the episodes I only read the whole manga.

i don't think the anime would be any good in english personally. with the matching of the lips and what not, it would just butcher the quality of the plot.

I disagree. I've seen quite a few dubs, and it's very possible to match lip flap without straying too far from the original while making the dialogue sound natural (that's one of the biggest flaws I see with subs; a literal translation (assuming it's been rearranged to make sense) is really bland and you don't get a good character "voice" out of it since no one talks that way).

And honestly, subs aren't immune to lip flap troubles. Don't believe me? Go watch all of Stellvia in Japanese. There's several scenes where the dialogue doesn't match up with the lip flap AT ALL.

Back on topic...

There's only so much you can do with a series before it becomes repetitive. It's sad that the anime and manga are finished, and that the series has pretty much finished in all forms, but I'd rather it end now than have it continue until we all hate it. 3nodding

It only recently hit me that Death Note was over. xD; I always used to come home from school on Wednesdays/Thursdays and watch it, so after school on Monday I thought "I can't wait until Wednesday so I can watch Death Note..." Then BAM! Realization. gonk

I want anything anime showing life of the character before involving with the note

For sure Death Note will remain in my heart 4ever...
