The power went out for the first time in a long time this morning. Luckily, the outage only lasted 5 minutes. I wasn't out of bed yet anyway, so I wasn't too affected.

The power went out for almost a day last summer.... where I was at least... we could see the stars because there were no lights whatsoever... it was nice. =D

We get maybe one per year. They're pretty rare here.

Which I find amazing, since people here are idiots. xd
we get tons here. about two weeks ago we had one that lasted about 8 hours or so? I didn't count, but that was during a real big storm and several trees and electrical cable pole stuff got struck down... I know I'm really slow, but apparently we're buying electricity from NY... surprised
