When you said "burned," I almost cried. I just finished re-reading Fahrenheit 451, you see.
I have stashes of books everywhere. No one will ever find them all blaugh No orderly shelves for me. My favorites are scattered around in various locations.

THat's a travesty, good for you on getting them and keeping them safe.
The mere thought of burning books, any books, chills me to the very core. The thought of a parent doing that to thier kid is ghastly.

That's just sad. Who would burn their child's books it's horrible. I'm glad you were able to save them though, that's a good thing

OMG that's so mean!!! if my mom did that i'd never tlak to her again. You can not like books but that is absolutely out of order!!
