Probably. Chewed up weed does make you high, though to a lower degree and a longer time... so.

No, heat will warp the psilocybin and it wouldn't be effictive. Kinda like what happens with most psychedelics.
Now if it was DMT or salvia extract, then you could trip.

THC has to be heated to work (which is why in foods it has to be cooked) and most psychedelics (save the ones listed and maybe a few others) don't work at those heats.

But... I think she used cannabis butter, in which case that would've been heated when it was made, I'd assume, so... I have no certainty to offer! x_X*

Yeah, whenever I chew up weed i fall asleep after some mild effects.

I have no certainty to offer! x_X*The butter would have been melted, have the marijuana mixed in and then allowed to reform. At the moment that it got mixed in even allowing it to cool down would still have activated the THC.

i've tried a little bit of shake from shrooms inside a joint it makes it taste like the shrooms. i wouldn't recommend it. i've heard of a story in Toronto where a guy would smoke just shrooms and he died and when the autopsy was taken they found growing fungus and shrooms inside the guy's lungs since all the spores were floating around in there. kinda creepy...
