I like magical/full TG. Crossdressing just isn't my cup of tea, ya know?

I have to disagree here. As someone who has crossdressed in the past. Crossdressing is often used as an extention of the imagination of being the opposite gender, or in other words a physical manifestation of the desire to be the opposite gender. Where drag, which is often interchanged with CDing but not the same, is more of a parody of the opposite gender then mimicing them.
Furthermore, Transgender or TG is the new blanket term used to lump all those with gender crossing interests into the same basket so to speak. Transgender covers everything from panty wearing to magical/sci-fi to complete gender reassignment or SRS.
So I would have to say that crossdressing is TG, although not actually gender changing.

Technically, TG stands for transgender which is anything that bridges the gender gap. Gender is not a solid thing, it is abstract. It is how society and humanity view the different sexes, and while yes, it is filled with certain stereotypes and can change depending on location and culture, there are some generally shared ideas. So yes, crossdressing is TG. TS or transsexual applies to a person actually changing sex, which is the physical genitalia. Because TG deals with the abstract ideas of sex, it can encompass a lot.
Anyway, that's my lecture... sweatdrop

Yeah, that was sort of my thinking as well. On the other hand, I don't really count the punk/goth/emo styles that incorporate 'feminine' or androgynous styles into male presentations. I love the look, for sure, but I don't count *that* type of cross-dressing as tg. It's It's more... anti-gender, or something.

Crossdressing or simply acting like a stereotype of the opposite sex doesn't do a whole lot for me.

Crossdressing or simply acting like a stereotype of the opposite sex doesn't do a whole lot for me. I have a mild preference for that kind of thing as well - tho I also count stuff like Venus Envy, which is sort of a young pre-op transsexual's 'coming of age' kind of thing, but I could see how others might put that into another category. Not quite sure about yubisaki milk tea, though. In some ways, Nori's attitude is kind of like my own at that age... at some points he seems to want to actually be a girl, at others he thinks there's something really wrong with him for wanting that, and then sometimes he seems like he just wants to play a girl some of the time. So it's easy for me to see it as finishing as either kind of story by the end.
