Either Dragonball Z, Pokemon, or Monster Rancher. Back then I didn't even know what anime was but a few years later got into it.

My very first anime was Sailormoon. I think that was around 1993? I saw Sailormoon by random zapping on a Turkish channel. Although I didn't understand a word (it was dubbed and I am chinese), I do remember trying to copy their moves when transforming xd
BUT I didn't get addicted back then...
I got addicted to anime (and manga) a couple years ago (4 years?). I saw animes like Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club heart

My first anime was either Sailor Moon or Pokemon, and my dad would've been the cause for me seeing both. I became a true fan when i saw Yugioh, the abridged version.

Hmmm... first I remember seeing was Vampire Hunter D at like 2:30am on USA during one of those "shows all night" things I think around late eighties/early nineties . I liked it from the start, but only saw stuff really sporadically as I could afford to buy something. Now-a-days you can find about any anime you want online if you look hard enough.
