Yes; Spanish manga. I'm both very upset and astoundingly happy that it is Spanish. x3

Vajra B. Hairava The languages are similar enough to be considered the same. If they weren't spoken in different countries, they would be.
~snip~ the 3 languages of Yugoslavia Serbian, Bosnian, croatian >>> formerly Serbo-Croatian Bosnian used to use the cyrillic alphabet, now uses a latin alphabet. Serbian uses a cyrillic and a latin alphabet.Croatian uses the latin alphabet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differences_between_Malay_and_Indonesian

I've seen that website.
The difference is about the same between american englisha and british english. In america you say elevator, in england its a lift. In Indonesian you say berbicara, in Malaysia bercakap. But the languages are still mutually intelligible and 98% the same.

Nynorsk and Bokmål (British english & American English) (Main forms of norwegian) so why isn't one of them a dialect?

Well, you could say that they are both dialects of each other. Officially, I suppose that Indonesian is actually a dialect of the Malay language. But the thing is, way more people speak Indonesian than Malay. So its kinda weird. If they weren't spoken in different countries, there'd be no question about their sameness. But ya know, people like to get patriotic and claim that its their language. Yeah, except for the 130 million people in the country next to you who speak it too. Same thing for Hindi and Urdu. The only thing is, the Pakistanis don't want to be associated with them pagan non halal Hindus. Back before the partition of India, Hindi and Urdu were terms for the same language. But now the Pakistanis say they speak Urdu, and the Indians took Hindi. Just because one of you uses the Arabic alphabet and one the traditional Indian way doesn't make them separate languages, because when you speak them, they are the same freaking thing! But noo...

I thought they originated from different language families. >.< The different name thing seems to work. sweatdrop

Nope, 1 language with 2 names. Its Pakistani and Indian nationalism respectively that wants you to think they are different. It doesn't really matter, but it still bugs me.

I heard somewhere that out of the 25 (or what not ) languages of India their was a certain phrase that was the same. It was used in Bollywood. I think the phrase is " I'll get back with you" but, i'm not positive though.

Probably not the same, but maybe mutually intelligible. Since all the languages in India, except the Dravidians in the south, are directly descended from Sanskrit, they all are very similar. If you speak one, you speak a good portion of the others.

I want to learn Irish too. But ugh. the Celtic languages are the weirdest ones ever. I've never had as much trouble with a language as those. Will you be going to one of the Gaeltachts? Because otherwise, I don't think Irish is spoken that much there, unfortunatley.

So, for all of you Malaysian speakers out there...
Think you can translate this?
IT's like, a mixture of Malaysian and English from a song, so I thought I'd ask.
Semalam I call you, you tak answer. You kata you keluar pergi dinner. You kata you keluar dengan kawan you. But when I called Tommy he said it wasn't true.
So I drove my car pergi Damansara. Tommy kata maybe you tengok bola. Tapi bila I sampai you, you tak ada. Lagilah I jadi gila.
So I called and called sampai you answer. You kata sorry sayang tadi tak dengar. My phone was on silent, I was at the gym. Tapi latar belakang suara perempuan lain.
Sudahlah sayang, I don't believe you. I've always known your words were never true. Why am I with you, I pun tak tahu. No wonderlah my friends pun tak suka you.
So I guess that's the end of our story. Akhir kata she accepted his apology. Tapi last last kita dapat tahu she was cheating too. With her ex boyfriend's best friend - Tommy.
Kantoi - Zee Avi
