A simple white painted single story house on the edge of one of the fenced off pastures, The inside has 4 rooms. The kitchen, living room, bathroom and a bedroom. The walls in all rooms are painted white with a lighter colored wood flooring, and a small attic that is never use by humans, were Kinu, a brownie, lives, and will come down to help Moriko by cleaning her house when she's gone. Brownie's usually vanish when humans are about, but Moriko's seen it on several occasions. She also has a pheonix, Heiro, who will fly around outside most of the day, but perch in her living room at night.
The kitchen has a stove, microwave, sink, fridge, coffee maker, garbage can and 4 shelves on one side with cabinets lining above it. A small table is on the side of the kitchen.
The living room has a coffee table, two sofa's and a chair around the table, a small tv to one side, a bookshelf filled with books and journals about mythical creatures, and a radio on a small table near the wall next to a bird stand where Heiro, her pheonix, likes to perch while sleeping.
The bathroom is simple, toilet, counter/sink, mirror cabinet, and a shower tub.
Her bedroom has her bed, a bedside table with an alarm clock and lamp, dresser near the wall and a bookshelf with more books and a small desk with a desk lamp and a laptop, the laptop being a newer object she got and doesn't really know how to use, the instruction manual right next to it.

Moriko walked into her house, leaving the door open long enough for Heiro to fly inside and take his place on his perch and locking the door behind her. She went to her room and changed for bed, taking the time to put the golden rose in a vase on her bedside table, then got into bed, quickly falling asleep.

Moriko got up. She looked at her clok, then got up and got dressed. She fed Heiro and let him go outside, then grabbed her bag off the coat rack that had her scrolls in it that she was working on for Farosin and left to go study creatures for the day.

Moriko walked into the house, changing her bandaging before she went to bed, already exhausted just from the walk home.

There was a note that Piopi had written, tacked to her door. Moriko had missed it last night because she was tired and it was dark.
Piopi had put it there while Moriko was out, when they had been corresponding through letters.
I'll be at your shop.
was scratchily written on a piece of leather.
And Piopi was indeed already there- even though it was very early morning.

Dark walked with Z up to Moriko's front door and knocked on it a few times. After no one answered after a bit, she turned to Z.
"She might be at one of the cages or pastures, we should probably look around."

Moriko walked into her house and went to her bedroom, getting ready for bed and putting the egg in a small, wooden makeshift cradle she made lined with blankets before getting in bed herself and going to sleep.
