My favorite legendary is in Kanto, but I adore Hoenn. It has Spheal. =D

(Yay for being the only Hoenn vote? XD)

I can't pick a favorite Region but Hoenn is frickin' awesome cuz it has Dive in it and I said from the beginning, way back when it was monochrome Kanto, that i wished they ad put in an HM that let you explore the ocean floor. It wasn't as awesome as i had imagined back then but it was a dream come true for me.

I'm still not sure just why Hoenn is my favorite, but for some reason it is. It is pretty nifty that you can explore the ocean floor, however it's sad that it's only a small portion of the Hoenn region.

[rant]I dislike Sinnoh. I guess the main reason is it has very little diversity in it's native poke'mon. Barring legendaries, there is so little type choices in the game. Yes, it's more challenging that way, but I still find it a bit annoying. There is TWO fire types native to Sinnoh: Chimchar and it's evolutions and Heatran. It's a bit blah. T^T [/rant]

I know! I was mad that there weren't any new fire types except for the obligatory starter and one more. I mean, come on, couldn't they have at least added a handful of new fire types? XD I'm sure everyone who didn't have Chimchar ended up relying on Ponyta the whole game.

Then of course they made the 2nd and 6th gym leaders both weak to fire, and then one member of the Elite Four is weak to fire, and similar with a lot of other poke'mon. There is only 1 dragon in there too. T^T Sinnoh has horrible balance with its types.

I prefer grass types over fire types so that wasn't any big issue to me. I'm also a big fan of Bugs and Sinnoh has an abundance of new ones. I'm a fan of Ralts, who I thought was left to be picked on by nintendo when they gave both genders such a girly evolution as Gardevoir. Gallade made my liking of Sinnoh go way up as well. The new evolutions of Misdreavus, who needed a power boost badly and of Dusclops as well as the birth of Froslass and Rotom were factors as well since I'm a fan of Ghosts too.

All in all, Nintendo reallymade me like sinnoh with the abundance of new pokeon that fall in favor of me. If I told you my favorite Pokemon types in the game, as well as my favorite Pokemon, the majority of the types I like got several new Pokemon thrown into them and many of my favorite Pokemon either have a Sinnoh evolution or are Sinnoh Pokemon.

Johto

Mainly because my first game was crystal, and I absolutely heart it. All my adventures and journeys as a beginning pokemon trainer lie in that region.
Second It'd have to be Kanto, then Hoenn, and last Sinnoh (it wasn't so much of a big leap from sapphire, ruby and emerald.)

I can't wait to hear information on whether they are going to remake Gold and Silver!! I also had a thought- What if they made an online pokemon RPG where you can travel through all of the regions and actually see and battle other people?? Wouldn't that be cool?!?!

This is so true, also- Torterra has a major advantage to nearly all the gyms.

I've gotta go with the johto region.It just seemed to laid out better and had some cool pokemon.

You forgot a few of the regions from the lesser known games Almia, Orre and Fiore. I would Pick Orre (From Pokemon Coliseum) but out of the options I would have to pick Johto as well. It seems to be pretty popular, in the new coming games Heart Gold and Soul Silver we can see all the towns with enhanced graphics and everything.
