I have mixed feelings about himm...
He was only 7 and used as an experiment...
but he also couldn't let go of his hate for Max....

XxShadow_In_The_FirexX He is the hafe brother of Max ((That poor girl)) Not really an enemy. Would you think of him on the "Good side"? well, in the first 2 books, he was a bad guy, a really cool one (seriously if the erasers wernt evil they would be awesome) in the third book, i considered him a good guy, with him helping the flock and all

poor Ari, only 7 years old and getting transformed into a stupid Eraser, the poor kid. so, i think he is on the good side once he saved Angel and in the beginning, he was bad.....
PS- Remember when he got the Gameboy? aww, i was like, poor kid! Just a little 7 year-old at heart... crying

Ari was nothing but a manipulative pawn for the "bad side", in true of heart, he was but a little boy trying to figure out where he belonged. He obeyed orders to avoid conflict, he was wild and rebellious like any little kid, he had attachment/hate issues with anyone older than him (Jeb and Max), and childlike desires and the need to be praised.
When he finally got a chance to be with Max and the flock, he seemed at peace. He got heard, finally had a place in Max's eyes and he even got the side of himself he wanted to be seen by Jeb seen.
It really was a bummer when Ari dyed, but sadly, I had seen it coming. My heartstrings were still given a pretty nasty tug as I read on and on as Ari dyed fought and fought then just... dyed...
Poor little kid...

I don't think I ever really hated him. He really didn't have anywhere else to turn. I just really pitied him since the beginning. He could have always wanted to be good, but had no chance to. It's all in perspective.

i dont know, i mean probably till his death i thought that (like Fang) you know you dont have to play by the rules if your know that your gonna die, but i guess the innocent 7 y/o came out at the end.

its really sad what he had to go through his life with, but i liked his character in the books. I kinda can't tell who he is in the manga though until I saw the scar.
